Today I began to pack my clinic up and will begin to move my things into storage at home. This has had to happen while I continue to heal following the serious car crash last August.

I'm taking it all a day at a time, and currently have no clear recovery plan with ACC, while I await results from assessments in recent weeks. However I'm focused on a holistic approach which includes a range of treatments.

I am confident that I will return to my passion and serve the community with my Bowen Therapy clinic again, when I'm able to.

Thank you to everyone who continues to check in on me with kindness and encouragement. Communication still zaps my energy, and then my memory is still poor. So if yours slipped thru without a reply please just know that I really do appreciate your kind messages.

So, I am curious to see where my next chapter will end up!

But for now I will just continue to focus on everything I need to do to recover back to full health.

I wanted to reach out to give you a quick update on my recovery progress and my current availability.
I have just sent this as an email to my address book too. (With some help 😁)

As you know, my concussion recovery has been slower than I had hoped, but I’m making steady progress. I’m happy to share that my balance has improved significantly, and I’m now able to walk on my own, for fitness every day, which is a big milestone for me.

However, I’m still dealing with some challenges, including difficulty with headaches, concentration, memory, and feeling overwhelmed more easily. I’m pacing myself carefully to manage these issues, but both reading and writing are still quite challenging at times.

I’m actively working on physical rehab, including Bowen therapy, as well as focusing on cognitive rehab to help with my recovery. Although progress is constant it’s definitely slower than I’d like, but you know that I know about the brain and the need for this to take as long as it takes.

I really appreciate your patience and understanding as I continue this journey. While I don’t yet have a clear return-to-work plan or date, I’m optimistic about getting back and I’ll keep you updated as things evolve.

If you need anything in the meantime or have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m doing my best to stay involved and will be happy to assist where I can. I can refer you to another practitioner.
Just be patient it may take a day or 2 for me to reply, and if I forget I'm absolutely happy for you to remind me! My sense of humour is still intact :)

Thank you again for your continued support—it means a lot to me. It's been humbling the amount of support from so many people, and I really appreciate it.

I couldn't be more proud of Row!

She launched her business Relax and Restore as the main tenant in my second clinic room, last year. After a steady growth she's needing her own full time space🎉 and I could not be happier for her!!!

With this change, I have decided to let go of that space. I've needed to reassess my needs too, as I'm unable to work for a while as I'm still rehabilitating following my concussion.

So, there's more news to share soon, about who will be filling that space. But for now, it's all about celebrating our Row, and wishing her all the best with the launch of her new space 🥳💜

Every now and then I get a beautifully unplanned moment which fills my heart🥰

How cute are these 2 brothers. Older boy was off to his new passion, football training after his Bowen this arvo, and his biggest fan was along for the ride. So when I asked big brother to take his shoes off and get on the bed, guess who had to too!

I adore working with kids, for anyone who doesn't know, I did that part time before taking the clinic full time almost 5 years ago.

Thanks to the boy's mum who was snapping pics for the family who all have their turn on this bed, and was more than happy to share this photo with you all🙏 I wish her nothing but a lovely post Bowen sleep tonight for both boys😁✨
