🌧️☕ Stay Safe, We’ve Got You Covered 🌪️

With the cyclone approaching, the top priority is everyone’s safety. Please take care, stay indoors where possible, and look after your loved ones.

We also want you to know that we plan to still be OPEN tomorrow, even if there are power outages.
The health center will run on a generator.
We’ll be here serving up hot coffee, warm food, and a safe place to take a breather if you need it.

If it’s safe for you to travel, come by—we’d love to see you and help keep you warm. 💛

Wowee what a week! Very grateful to have the cafe pumping and the catering flying out the door everyday to at least 20+ people!
Finger food
Soup and buns
Brisket,slaw,buns
Lasagne and salad
Sweet corn fritters and salad
Cakes, slices, scones, fruit platters and antipasto platters all made in house as well as keeping the cabinet full with all your sweets, salads and savoury items with the coffees flowing!
We thrive off these days it makes us proud of what we love doing
Let's hope we're in for another big week next week 😁

Barista/front of house position available preferably experienced

We’re hiring at Koko cafe a little cafe tucked inside the Hastings Health Center!
Looking for the right person to join our amazing team.
If you’ve got the skills, passion, and positive energy to help us deliver great food, coffee, and service — we’d love to hear from you!

Must be able to work under pressure and manage busy times.

Preferably an experienced Barista as it's a
Busy role requiring coffee skills, handling multiple orders, has general coffee knowledge.
But also can manage serving customers, heating food, delivering and clearing dishes as well with the odd bit of baking slices etc as we make everything on site.

40 hours per week
Monday- Friday
