Take care and remember our HIPs and Health Coaches are here to help if you need some extra support. See our website for more information (under special services).
Your mental and emotional wellbeing is important. It’s normal to feel stressed or anxious right now. Even if you have not been directly impacted, this may bring up memories and emotions from previous emergency events. Be kind and check in on your neighbours and whānau.
You can text or phone 1737 to speak to a trained counsellor. They can help if you:
- need support or advice
- have feelings of anxiety, stress, prolonged fear, hopelessness or anger, or
- you just need to talk with someone.
After an emergency, be sure to talk to someone about how you are feeling.
