We have been serving the Hawkes Bay community since 2013 and we believe that we have something special. We are passionate about the responsibility we have for caring for loved ones, and guiding their families. Helping families celebrate the lives of their loved ones has given us an opportunity to acknowledge the close community ties that New Zealanders share.

With heavy hearts, we share the sad news that on Friday, 15 May 2026, our beautiful sister Laurette passed away peacefully in Melbourne, Australia.

As a family, we are deeply grieving this loss. One of Laurette’s wishes was to come home, and we are currently making arrangements for her final journey. During this difficult time, we are doing our best to navigate the logistics involved in bringing her home to her whānau.

This Friday is Pink Shirt Day 🩷

Kaea was ripped from us on Mothers Day and laid to rest the day after Pink Shirt Day.

This is a kaupapa that stands against bullying and has sat deeply with me.

I ask all my friends and whānau to please stand with us. Wear pink this Friday, upload your photos, and use the hashtag 🩷

Kindness costs nothing, but words, gossip, harassment, exclusion, bullying, violence, and silence can leave lifelong scars. Please check on your people, teach your babies kindness, speak up when something isn’t right, and be gentle with those carrying battles you cannot see.

Our boy should still be here.

So in Kaea’s name, we will always stand for more aroha, more compassion, and more courage to stand against bullying.

Supported in many schools and workplaces.
Koha link to tautoko Pink Shirt Day Aotearoa directly. All funds go to anti bullying programmes etc in schools.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of a beloved my dear, mum, nan, nan nan, sister and aunt.

She weathered the storm and fought the fight showing her resilience till the very end. She carried herself with kindness, compassion and poured her love into all those around her.

Known for her warm nature and gift for conversation, she never met a stranger- only friends she hadn't spoken to yet.

Her days were filled with care for others, and she gave her love freely and wholeheartedly.

Mum will be with us tonight @ Wilson Road.

Tuesday we will leave home at 11am to journey to Kahuranaki Marae, Te Hauke.

Nehu is on Thursday 11am
