Just a little note that there will be no yoga classes this Good Friday or Easter Monday as we take a pause to rest and enjoy the long weekend 💛

Wishing you a beautiful Easter filled with softness, connection, and maybe even a little chocolate 🍫✨

Classes will resume as usual Tuesday 7th – I look forward to seeing you back on the mat in person or via zoom (for yin yoga classes only)🧘‍♀️

Whether you’re joining a slow, nurturing Gentle class or sinking into longer-held Yin shapes, each session will invite length, release, and a deeper connection through the spine.

This week in yoga we’ll be giving some extra love to the hips — an area where many of us store tension from sitting, driving, stress, and everyday life.

Our classes will gently explore hip-opening poses to help release tightness, improve mobility, and create a sense of spaciousness through the lower body. Expect slow, mindful movement in Gentle Yoga, and longer, nourishing holds in Yin Yoga to encourage the deeper connective tissues around the hips to soften and unwind.

Hip-focused practices can often feel both grounding and surprisingly emotional — so we’ll approach the week with patience, breath, and curiosity. 🌿

As our four-week lunar yoga journey comes to a close, we arrive at the waning moon, moving from Korekore into Tangaroa in the maramataka.

After the quiet, reflective energy of Korekore, Tangaroa brings a lift — a time traditionally associated with productiveness, clarity, and getting things done.

It’s a beautiful moment to return to the mat with renewed energy, letting the body move, stretch, and flow with purpose as we complete this lunar cycle together. 🌙

Whether you’ve been following along with the lunar themes or simply coming for some gentle movement and rest, you are very welcome.

Last week in class we worked with the New Moon — a time of stillness, rest, and creating space.

A chance to pause, soften, and reset.

This week, the moon begins to grow brighter, and our classes will gently shift into the Waxing Moon phase — a time of steady growth, nourishment, and building energy.

In Gentle Yoga and Yin Yoga, we’ll explore:
🌱 slow, supportive movement
🌱 waking up strength without force
🌱 nourishing the body and nervous system
🌱 allowing momentum to build naturally
🌱 The Separation of Ranginui and Papatūānuku

Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.
Just moving forward one breath at a time.

Hi everyone,

There is an upcoming change to the booking system I use through Acuity Scheduling

🗓 Starting February 20, 2026, the Acuity Client Scheduling App will no longer be available for new downloads in the App Store or Google Play.

What this means for you:

✅ If you already have the app installed — you can continue using it as usual.
❌ If you don’t have the app yet — it will no longer be available to download.
💻📱 Good news: Their scheduling page works perfectly on mobile and has all the same features as the app!

How to add booking to your phone (super easy!):

You can save our scheduling page directly to your home screen:

1. Open my booking link in your mobile browser: https://ryamsuse.as.me/
2. Tap the Share icon (iPhone)or the three-dot menu (Android)
3. Select Add to Home Screen

This gives you one-tap access — just like an app 😊

⚠️ This change only affects the client app. The admin system remains the same on my end.
