Had a great time meeting the awesome students & staff at Salon Elite and having a chat about the importance of being kind to our bodies and investing time in ourselves.

Amazing session today with Charlie from Dynamic Therapy - Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation teaching the students how to best support their bodies while in the industry. Charlie is incredible with a wealth of knowledge, we are very lucky to have her support and can not reccomended her enough!

The calendar flipped, but you don’t have to

Every January, the health and fitness industry cashes in on the idea that you have to make drastic changes to “fix” yourself.

But here’s the truth: you’re not broken.

If you want to make some changes for 2025, that’s awesome, but don’t let the pressure of “new year, new you” overwhelm you.

If I could give just one piece of advice, it’s this:

Focus on the basics

Sleep: Quality rest is the foundation of everything

Hydration: Water works wonders, it affects your energy, focus and mood. Don’t underestimate it

Breath: Breathing isn’t just automatic, it’s a powerful tool to reduce stress, improve muscle recovery & improve mood regulation

Movement: forget the “no pain, no gain”
Move your body in ways that feel good, not as punishment.

No gimmicks, no quick fixes. Just the basics. Because real, sustainable health isn’t about trendy resolutions it’s about showing up for yourself, one simple step at a time.
