Your on-going courage and bravery,...oops..., I mean trust and confidence in what we do here at Bods Massage Hāwera, provides valuable learning opportunities for us to continue to improve and strengthen our practice year after year.

We will be re-opening on Monday 27 November, ahead of the Christmas/New Year's season.

Kia ora Whānau!

Just a quick message to say that due to a sudden bereavement, Bods Massage Hāwera will not be taking any new appointments this week beginning 16 April 2023.

To you all, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for a wonderful year. ♥️

Despite the challenges since 2020, it's been an honour to have had the opportunity to work with each and every one of you.

You've each bought laughter, love, light and the occasional tears into our home.

Bods Massage Hāwera is closed from Monday 19 December 2022 to Monday 9 January 2023.

But on behalf of Dal and myself, we wish you all a safe and happy Christmas and New Year's session.

Well, we're into the second half of November and with December and the end of 2022 just around the corner, Dal and I thought it'd be a good time to give a heads-up on our Christmas/New Years arrangements.

The last day of business for Bods Massage Hāwera this year will be Sunday 18 December 2022.

And we will start up again on Tuesday 10 January 2022.

Because we'll be away, we'll not be able to take bookings or provide vouchers during this time.

Another bit of news is that we'll be looking to add a "notice board-type" feature on the Bods Massage Hāwera website, which will allow us to post news, announcements, information, etc. there too.

Heoi anō e hoa mā, it's "business as usual" so take care everyone, and enjoy the warm, albeit wet weather.

Kia ora Whānau!

Well, as you'd have heard, the Covid-19 traffic light system and most mask requirements will end at 11:59 tonight.

The changes then for us here at Bods Massage Hāwera is that for you our clients, wearing a mask will be voluntary.

Dal and I will also dispense with wearing masks in the home (some of you will finally see what we look like!), but I'll continue to wear one in the massage space.

The only other measure that we would like to remind everyone about is that if you are feeling unwell or are sick, just hold off making an appointment until you're feeling better

And where you've made an appointment with us, just let me know and we can reschedule.

On a personal note, our heartfelt thanks to all of you who supported us in being able to operate Bods Massage Hāwera over the past two years.

We wouldn't have been able to do it without each and every one of you. 🥹

With that, the only thing left to say is congratulations everyone - we made it! 👏🙌

Kia ora Whānau!

Well, the end of another month draws near. However, changes early next month to the COVID-19 protocols signal small, but positive steps for Bods Massage Hāwera moving forward, which are summarised below.

From Tuesday 5 April 2022, a vaccine pass will not be required to make an appointment with us here at Bods Massage Hāwera.

A very warm Bods Massage Hāwera welcome back then, to our returning and prospective clients!

In terms of process, people will no longer need to scan the COVID-19 QR code upon entering the massage space.

However, we ask that you continue to wear a mask upon entering the main dwelling, until you reach the massage space, where you'll be free to remove it during the treatment.

After the treatment, just pop the mask back on as you leave the dwelling and return to your vehicle.

And Dal and I will continue to wear our masks during your time with us, probably for the foreseeable future.

We also ask that in the event you are feeling unwell ahead of an appointment with us, or are a "close contact" of somebody with COVID-19, just let us know, and we can arrange with you a new date.

And that's it for the operational-type stuff!

On another note, Dal and I will be away for a bit of break on 3 April 2022 (coincidental we assure you...!), returning back for duty rested and refreshed on 10 April 2022.

Kia ora Whānau!

We'll, it's been a busy time since our last post, and given the current times, that's been a real blessing.

So our sincerest thanks to you all! 💛💚💙

With that, and as we move into autumn proper, Dal and I will be heading up the coast for a break from Sunday 3 to the following Sunday of 9 April 2022.

That should leave us refreshed, recharged and ready to crack on through the remainder of autumn and into winter...

With that, everyone stay safe, and take care of yourselves and one another!

New Year's greetings to you all!

Well, this post was then going to go along the lines of extending a welcome back to you all, trust everyone had a great break, and hope you are all looking forward to 2022.

Of course, all the above still applies, although the last has already been challenged with the Government announcing today that at midnight tonight, the country will be moving to Alert Level Red of the COVID-19 Protection Framework.

So this is to let you all know that Bods Massage Hāwera remains open, and is taking appointments subject to presentation of a Vaccine Pass (if you haven't done so already).

And if you are feeling unwell, then please let us know or just hold off making an appointment until you feel better.

Other than that, please, everyone stay safe, look after yourselves, your families and loved ones, and let's yet again work together to get through this.

Despite the high and lows in general, its been only an honour and a privilege working with all of you this year. Dal and I are humbled.

Many thanks also to Design Garage for the wonderful rebranding of Bods Massage Hāwera - we are well placed moving into the New Year!

Who can say what 2022 has in store for us all, but from the bottom of our hearts, be safe and take care out there everyone.

We'll be closed 25-26 December 2021 and 1-2 January 2022. So Dal and I look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.
