My community has watched me try to squeeze myself into a box for as long as I can remember, and honestly, they find it a little bit funny.
Because the people who've sat with me, come to circles, or worked with me one on one already know what it is. They've felt it. I'm the one who keeps trying to find the words.
The thing is, it matters to me.
Not for the sake of a title, but because when the name doesn't fit, it's surprisingly easy to start describing yourself in someone else's language. And I've done that for way too long.
What I actually do is rooted in the body. In listening to what's there, beneath the thinking and the managing and the holding it all together.
I work with the subconscious mind, with hypnosis, with Reiki, with intuitive guidance, and with a way of being with the body that I've come to call body-led listening. It's at the centre of everything, always has been.
So the name I've landed on is 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆-𝗟𝗲𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲. And it feels true in a way that nothing else has.
Before I go ahead and print my next stack of business cards though, I want to hear from you.
If you've worked with me, come to a class, sat in a circle, or just been here for a while, what would you say I actually do? How would you describe it?
Drop it in the comments below. I'm genuinely curious, and apparently I need the help. 😄
