I have been very quiet in this forum for some time, I guess I drifted off into connecting with someone's else flow, got caught up in the hype.......
As I choose again I allow myself to acknowledge where I have been, acknowledge the learnings and embrace the journey.

Today I have a new quest which is all about my health - I am gifting myself a reset physically without any fancy or expensive supplements, some homeopathic guidance (cause I don't know what is best all the time).
As the wisdom years creep closer, I choose to embrace them with grace and wholeness and mature with love & ease.

Patience visited me
And it reminded me
That good things take time to come to fruition
And grow slowly with stability

Peace visited me
And it reminded me
That I may remain calm through the storms of life
Regardless of the chaos surrounding me

Hope visited me
And it reminded me
That better times lay ahead
And it would always be there to guide and uplift me

Humility visited me
And it reminded me
That I may achieve it
Not by trying to shrink myself and make myself less
But by focusing on serving the world and uplifting those around me

Kindness visited me
And it reminded me
To be more gentle, forgiving and compassionate toward myself
And those surrounding me

Confidence visited me
And it reminded me
To not conceal or suppress my gifts and talents
In order to make others feel more comfortable
But to embrace what makes me me

Focus visited me
And it reminded me
That other people’s insecurities and judgements about me
Are not my problem
And I should redirect my attention
From others back to me

Freedom visited me
And it reminded me
That no one has control over my mindset, thoughts and wellbeing
But me

And love visited me
And it reminded me
That I need not search for it in others
As it lies within me.

Would you believe it my KeriKeri flight got cancelled at 5.25pm. Jumped online rebooked for a flight NP to KeriKeri which departed at 6.25pm. Had to check in my pack my 5.55pm.
Phoned Guppy who was in Egmont Village updated him; he picked me up and we made it with 3 minutes to spare! How does it get any better than that?
I’m now staying in the lodge that I cancelled this morning- gratefully my room was still available!
I have been looked after!
Bus ride tomorrow Kaitaia to start the tramping the following day.
Time to sleep now - the emotional stress of all the flight changes has burnt some energy. And I didn’t cry once! 😜

I was testing this morning - my flight to Auckland-Kerikeri was cancelled due to fog in New Plymouth.
In the past my respond to flight plans changing is to cry..... not today people! I took deep breathes asked what else is possible with this situation?
Outcome is I am rebooked to Auckland tonight stay overnight at the airport hotel and then fly to Kerikeri in the morning and I still connect with my bus to Kaitaia as planned!
