🎼🎤From the perspective of the entertainer!

We have many fantastic entertainers come and share their talents with us here and they're all so appreciated and bring so much joy. What we don't often see is the view from their perspective and here it is!
Thank you Alan Sayer for taking the time to come and sing for us and creating this great image for us. How happy everyone looks, can you make out who is who?

🐰🌸 Our wonderful team hopped into the spirit of Easter Sunday last week, being Easter bunnies and delivering sweet little mini Easter baskets to our residents. The smiles and laughs made it an extra special day for everyone! 🐣💛

As if that wasn’t enough, we were also treated to some delicious Mr Whippy ice cream 🍦- a big thank you for coming along and brightening our day on Friday. It was the perfect way to add a little extra sweetness to the end of the week.

Meet our wonderful Health Care Assistant Paula

We’re so lucky to have Paula as part of the Marinoto family. Known for her kind, friendly nature and strong work ethic, she’s always willing to lend a hand. Whether supporting residents, staff or helping with activities. Her positive energy makes a real difference every day.

Originally from Stratford, Paula settled in Inglewood. Her career has spanned management, farming, and 13 years in early childhood education before retraining at WITT as a Health Care Assistant where she quickly knew she’d found her place.

“The residents, their whānau and staff at Marinoto are all very special - the care, practices and feel of the community make it such a lovely place to be.”

We’re truly blessed to have Paula on our team, her warmth and compassion reflect everything we value in our care.

We'd Love Your Support For Our Relay for Life Walk-a-Thon - Raising money for the Cancer Society of NZ Taranaki Centre Inc 💛

On Wednesday 18 March, our wonderful residents at will be taking part in our annual Walk-a-Thon, walking laps around our sensory garden to raise funds for the incredible work of the Cancer Society of New Zealand here in Taranaki.

For many of our residents, staff and families, cancer has sadly touched their lives in some way. This walk is our way of showing support, honouring loved ones, and giving back to the organisation that helps so many people in our community.

🚶‍♀️ Our residents will be walking as many laps as they can between 10am to 11:30am, and we would love sponsors to support them. Every donation, whether big or small, will be so greatly appreciated and will all go directly to the Taranaki Cancer Society of New Zealand.

If you would like to support our residents and this important cause, you can:
💛 Make a donation here at Marinoto reception @72 Matai Street
💛 Sponsor our residents for their walk via this link - https://taranaki.relayforlife.org.nz/marinoto-home-hospital-care-ryw
💛 Pop in on the day and cheer them on

Together, we hope to make a meaningful contribution while enjoying a day of movement, community, and purpose.

Thank you for helping our residents make a difference.
