This morning the energy in motion was
Anger - Frustration - Sadness...then tears which led to Hope - all before 9am.

Rest is Yoga
BEing present to what is needed and allowing it all to move through...

Leaning into the discomfort, offering myself the opportunity to move with gentleness and allow myself to feel all that is.

Not judging my humanness - doubts, fears, the what ifs
Allowing curiousity
Not lingering too long in the 'poor me'
Acknowledging where I am at 'this' moment
Doing the work to move with, then through.

Because I live in the space of trust - all parts of me know, that yet again this too shall pass.

Tonight’s Lunar Eclipse occurs when the Sun and Moon stand in exact opposition, with Earth moving directly between them. For a brief, powerful window, Earth intercepts the Sun’s light and casts its shadow across the Moon.

What is usually illuminated becomes partially darkened, revealing contrast, truth, and what may have been hidden beneath the surface.

In Yogic philosophy, the Moon is known as SOMA - the nectar, the cooling light, the emotional and intuitive body.
When Soma is eclipsed, we’re invited inward. Eclipses often mark a culmination, endings, revelations, and emotional release.

It’s less about doing, more about witnessing - tune inwards and be curious.

A time to pause
To feel
To let something complete

Your Thymus & Immunity 🙌

Did you know your thymus gland which sits just behind your breastbone, is where your immune system is “educated”?

The thymus is the training ground for T-cells (your intelligent immune cells). It’s most active in childhood and begins to naturally shrink after puberty around 13 - 14, yet it continues to play a regulatory role throughout adulthood.

This sweet little gland is deeply connected to;

- Immune resilience
- Stress response
- Inflammation balance
- Nervous system regulation

Chronic stress and elevated cortisol can suppress thymus function, which is why breath, awareness, and gentle somatic practices matter more than we realise.

In this video, I’ll guide you to:

✨ Place your hand over your thymus (centre of chest, behind the sternum)
✨ Inhale slowly through the nose
✨ As you exhale, apply soft pressure into the space repeat about 5 x
✨ Then lightly tap the thymus area for 20–30 seconds

This simple practice may:

- Stimulate circulation to the area
- Support lymphatic flow
- Encourage parasympathetic (rest & repair) activation
- Bring awareness back to heart centre

Think of it as a small daily reset for your immune and nervous system 😌

MOVEMENT

Yoga, Radiant Body Yoga & the Endocrine System.

Your Endocrine system is your body’s hormone messenger, influencing mood, sleep, metabolism, stress response, energy and reproductive health.

It includes the hypothalamus, pineal, pituitary, thyroid, thymus, adrenals, pancreas and ovaries & te**es - each playing a role in how you feel, function and respond to life.

In Yoga & specifically Radiant Body Yoga, we work rhythmically with breath, movement, mantra and focus. These focused kriyas stimulate the spine, nerve plexuses and areas around key glands, gently supporting balance in the glandular system.

✨ ️Changing your shape, literally changes your state ✨️

When we regulate the nervous system, we influence the hypothalamus and pituitary - the master regulators of hormones.

So this isn’t simply “energy work.”
- It’s breath shifting chemistry.
- Movement improving circulation.
- Sound affecting the vagus nerve.
- Repetition building new neural pathways.

From a yogic lens, chakras align with glands.
From a modern lens, feeling at ease regulates hormones.

Consistency & Neuroplasticity 💚

Neuroplasticity is your brain’s ability to rewire itself - shaping new pathways around what you repeatedly think, feel, and do.

The key word?
CONSISTENCY.

Consistency tells the brain:
This matters. Keep this pathway.

So remember - Each time you repeat a thought, a breath, a behaviour, you are lighting up neural circuits that begin, gently and steadily, to reshape old patterns.

Choose the things that light you up, and make your heart sing - you're literally retraining your brain 🙌

Every time you pause for breath…
Show up for your practice…
Choose a steadier response instead of a reactive one…
Step into an intentional moment to regulate your nervous system…

You are strengthening specific neural pathways.

The brain follows a simple principle described by Donald Hebb — known as Hebb’s Law:

I am qualified in KaHuna Massage and hold my Reiki Master certification. I believe we are a part of a greater Universal life force, things can effect us to our very core and unless we do the work to remove these blockages within ourselves then we remain unbalanced. My aim is to gently guide you into a greater more knowing you harnessing the healing powers that you already hold within you.
