We’re in the full swing of camp season, which means our crew are living their best life at Omaui Outdoor Camp.
Owned by The Y - Southland, this spot popular for its endless activities to suit a range of ages, and its close proximity to Invercargill (only 30 mins away!)
Our instructors will spend the next few weeks kayaking in the surf and abseiling kids from trees. What a life! We’re also providing a range of gear for activities like archery, horizontal bungy and adventure-based learning. Omaui really is the spot to be!

A classic Southland school camp location, Borland Lodge is the gateway to Fiordland National Park and offers a wide range of activities for your group, all within a short drive of the Lodge.

Rock climbing, abseiling, and caving are favourites among our clients! You might also see our crew on the Waiau River kayaking or swimming (and maybe jumping off a big rock), or journeying across Lake Monowai with a gaggle of brightly coloured boats in tow.

Join us for five days of adventure based at Borland Lodge, in beautiful Fiordland! The 2026 Lions Youth Leadership Course covers a range of adventure activities, including rock climbing, kayaking and caving, as well as a multi-day journey through Fiordland National Park.

If you’re aged between 16 – 19 years, and looking to push your limits and build valuable skills, get in touch with your local Lions Club or school today. Full or partial funding may be available with the generous support of Lions Clubs New Zealand - District 202F.
