Birth and Baby Support Southland BaBss We help you on your journey - however you do it. Help with all feeding challenges. Birth preparation and birth pool hire. And all things parenting .

We aim to support parents through pregnancy, birth, the post natal period and parenting with trained specialists in baby wearing, feeding and breastfeeding, birth educators and birth experience debriefing. This is an umbrella group that Gathers on the first Tuesday of every month where Breastfeeding peer supporters (supports formula feeding too), Invercargill babywearing, birth and homebirth supp

ort all meet to provide a nurturing support group for mums, babies and dads too of course. Our coffee and cake gatherings provides the opportunity to try out wraps and gain advice on how to wear your baby. We are a passionate group of mums that want to show compassion and support for your pregnancy and parenting journey, however you choose or in some cases, have to do it. We are here for you, to prop you up, boost your confidence, listen to you and provide any help we can without judgement or comparison. we want you to feel empowered and validate din the choices that you make, secure in knowing that you are just doing your best and that is good enough. We have books available for loan and birth pools to hire out if you are planning to labour as long as possible at home or to birth in the comfort of your own home. We keep time commitments to a minimum or whatever suits you, but love that many hands make light work.

Thank you for finding us here. This page is currently dormant as we have not regained our momentum following the covid fallout.
