As winter notches up a gear and the temperatures drop, make sure you're looking after yourself with these top tips:

- Test your blood sugars regularly to catch any highs or lows
- Do a bit of exercise every day to help regulate glucose levels
- Eat well with lots of wholefoods to stave off illness
- Get more vitamin D into you by walking outside in the sunlight and eating foods such as oily fish, milk and milk products, eggs and liver

Make sure you're talking to people you trust about how you're feeling, and ask for help if you need it.

Kia ora Whānau,
South roads have advised that they plan to seal Clyde Street beside our offices on Tuesday 8th and Wednesday 9th April, weather permitting. Work will take place between 9am and 9pm each day, during which time the road will be closed to general traffic from Troopers roundabout (Tay Street) right down Clyde Street to the Tweed Street roundabout.

We are still open - to get to the clinic, please come down Forth Street and inform the person who will be located at the corner that you are coming to our clinic and they will let you through.

You may have read in the Southland Times that Te Hau o Te Ora is moving! That’s right. To provide a more modern facility that is closer to town we are renovating new premises at 65 Don Street. The move will be toward the middle of the year, so for now, our after hours service is still here at the Clyde street premises.

Invercargill After Hours Services provides out of hours medical care and support if:
- it's outside of regular business hours for your practice,
- you are not yet registered with a local practice,
- you're a visitor to the region.

Clinic times:
Monday - Friday - 6pm - 9pm
Weekends and Public holidays - 12pm - 4pm
