NEO Skin Lab Holiday Notice ✨

Michelle & Martin will be out of the clinic from 12th March – 1st April while taking a short break and spending some time off grid (quite literally… on a boat ⛵).

During this time Michelle will have very limited connectivity, with no phone reception or WiFi, so text messages and calls won’t be received until she returns to New Zealand. Emails will be checked every few days when possible, so responses may take a little longer than usual.

The clinic will still be open for product purchases Tuesday–Friday, so you are very welcome to pop in if you need to restock your skincare while Michelle is away.

If you would like to book an appointment for April, the easiest way is through our online booking system via the “Book Now” button on our website.

Thank you for your patience while Michelle & Martin take a short break to recharge. We look forward to seeing you back in clinic from Tuesday 1st April.

LED light therapy might feel gentle… but the science behind it is surprisingly powerful.

Recent peer reviewed research shows red and near-infrared light don’t just “boost collagen.” They help your skin cells make more energy (ATP), which supports repair and healthier function.

Studies published in Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology (2021) showed measurable improvements in skin elasticity and wrinkle depth with consistent red LED use. Other research in Photochemistry and Photobiology (2022) suggests LED can actually calm inflammation by shifting skin cells into a more healing mode, which is why it’s helpful for acne, redness and post-treatment recovery.

In simple terms?
LED helps skin behave better at a cellular level.

It’s not magic. It’s biology.
And like most good science:consistency, correct wavelength and correct dosing all matter.

Let’s clear this up, because I know the price tags can definitely be a big influence, so I’ve brought you not one, but five reasons why our products are the top tier for you skin. 🩷

Clinically formulated products (like the ones we sell - ZO, Emepelle, Juvenate, Heliocare, NUYU, and Adipeau) contain therapeutic levels of active ingredients.
Supermarket skincare often uses lower percentages so it can be sold safely to everyone, meaning you’re not getting enough of what you actually need to make a real difference.
