Kia Orana Whanau! 🌺 Hubby and I were privileged enough to meet Creative Centre Rarotonga in person yesterday. Welcoming us, it was incredibly special to connect with our Cook Island Cuzzies, see their creative space and impressive projects.

Lily popped over the road to Rachel's House Trust to pass on some baby related donations we put together while doing Handbags for Hope at Compass FM. Lovely connecting and contributing to our local North Canterbury Community.

Lily and I started a 1:1 Mentorship last year. A huge passion in Lily’s life was local radio station Compass FM. We channeled this into Lily putting forward a job proposal as Voluntary Station Assistant. The Compass Crew were more than supportive and got Lily onboard a community project called Handbags For Hope at the station. Lily’s been sorting donations and making up bags of essentials that then get distributed to people in need Hope Community Trust, Oxford Community Trust, Community Wellbeing North Canterbury Trust. To continue our great work we are in need of donations of essentials:

🛍️Shampoo & Conditioner
🛍️Toothbrushes & Toothpaste
🛍️Hairbrushes/Combs
🛍️Small packets of Tissues
🛍️Deodorant
🛍️Sanitary Items
🛍️Preloved Handbags
🛍️Face washers/Small Towels

Donations can be dropped off to Compass FM during office hours 77-79 High Street, Rangiora or alternatively PM Shine Tribe for collection. We are so grateful 🫶🏻
