☕ International Coffee Day Celebration! 🎉
On the 1st of October, we celebrated International Coffee Day with our wonderful residents by serving up delicious hot coffee, coffee cake, and tiramisu!
A big thank you to our amazing staff who brewed fresh coffee using our coffee machine and helped create a warm, cozy atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
It was a delightful day filled with smiles, sweet treats, and the comforting aroma of coffee. 💛

🎉 Celebrating the International Day of Older Persons! 🌟

Last Wednesday, our residents had a blast at the Seniors and Disability Expo hosted by Age Concern Kaitaia! The energy was amazing, with plenty of smiles, great conversations, and new connections.

Switzer proudly had a table at the event, sharing what we do and meeting so many wonderful people. Our residents loved exploring the different stalls and chatting with other organisations—it was a day full of joy and community spirit!

Our residents had a fantastic time visiting KA URI cafe and gallery in Awanui! 🎨✨ They marveled at the stunning Māori arts and handcrafted pieces that beautifully tell the stories of the far north. After soaking in the creativity, they enjoyed a delightful coffee at the cafe. What a wonderful day filled with art and joy! ☕❤️

This week, we celebrated Māori Language Week with delicious homemade Māori fry bread! 🎉 Our Switzer staff and residents came together to cook and enjoy this tasty treat, slathered with butter and jam or chocolate. 🥯💖 It was a joyful experience filled with laughter, culture, and, of course, great food! 🌟
