BEER, Joy

Passed away peacefully at her home on 23/02/26 age 87.
She was the dearly beloved wife of the late Paul Beer, mother to Evan and the late Debbie Beer, Mother-in-law to Michelle Beer and a cherished sister to Ronald, Nola, Janice and Allen. She was a beloved Aunt and a dear friend to the Broadwood community.

A celebration of Joy’s life will be held on Wednesday 04/03/26, at 11 a.m. at Broadwood Hall,

followed by burial at Broadwood Public Cemetery, where she will be reunited with Paul. Always remembered and deeply loved by all who knew her. We find comfort knowing she now blooms in God's eternal Garden.

Beloved father of Olive Mitchell, Llonia Curreen and Brian Curreen.

Loved Brother to Maisey.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Ivo Curreen will be held on Tuesday 24th of February 2026, 11:00am, at Geards Funerals, followed by refreshments and burial at Kaitaia public cemetery.

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by those who loved her dearly.

Cherished mother of Wayne, Dave and Lee and Stewart, Devoted grandmother to Michael, Terry, Melissa, David, Dana, Toni, Jane and Sam and all their Children.

A service for Huia will be held in the Geards Chapel at 11am on Thursday 5th Febuary 2026 followed by a private cremation.

The whanau then extend a warm welcome to the Kaitaia RSA where memories of Huia will continue to be shared following her service.

Passed away peacefully on the 1st February 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving whanau.

Joseph will lay in state at his home on Takahue place, Kaitaia tonight (Sunday 1st Feb). Monday morning at 10am Joseph will arrive at Pukemiro Kura where he will stay until 2:30pm. Tuesday morning he will make his final journey to Whakatane, where he will lay one night at Taewhakaea Marae, his tangi will be held on Wednesday morning 10am followed by nehu at Paroa urupa in Whakatane.
