With just over 5 weeks till Christmas our final 4 week series of Stay Strong & Steady Balclutha Strength & Balance Classes is starting:

Stay Strong & Steady Balclutha is a community Strength & Balance class targeted at older adults aged 65 years or older (or 55 years or older for Māori & Pasifika) but is open to anyone who has concerns about their bone health, strength & balance or is at risk of a fall.
This Level 2 class is led by a Physiotherapist who is an ACC approved Strength & Balance program provider under the Live Stronger For Longer Falls & Fracture Prevention network. www.livestronger.org.nz

This is a great time to strengthen up for summer activities or prior to the festive season. Summer is also the start of the events season so if you're planning for a running or biking event this summer, Pilates is an essential training tool to strengthen up your core, hips, knees and ankles to maintain good alignment and prevent injuries from creeping in so you can complete the season and achieve your goals.
All classes are ACC approved Strength & Balance programs led by a Physiotherapist.

This is a matwork series with a great whole body workout to strengthen and tone your limbs, and with a core focus to target your back, abdominals and pelvic floor.
Level options are available from beginner to more advanced in all classes so you can tailor the exercises to suit your body as you strengthen and tone.
Exercises are individually modified for clients with specific rehabilitation needs or if you are pregnant.
Trimester 2 is the ideal time to strengthen your body for the final months of your pregnancy, for your birth and to aid postpartum recovery so jump in and join our other antenatal ladies now!
These classes are an ACC Level 3 'Approved Strength and Balance Programme', so if you're concerned about your bone health, strength or balance or just want quality assurance, then these classes are for you!

My name's Hollie Turner, I'm a Physiotherapist of 20+ years experience working in multiple rehabilitation settings both nationally and internationally and have been instructing Pilates classes for the past 8 years. HTPilatesPlus is a physiotherapy led Pilates group with the goal of bringing Pilates classes to you wherever you are and whatever the time! Our matwork classes cater to all levels of Pilates from beginner to advanced and are available in person in Rotorua or Geraldine areas or online nationwide. My online coaching and consulting is also available nationwide and has a particular focus on women’s health needs and general rehabilitation involving strengthening of the deep core and back.
