Karamea whanau, if you are hoping to avoid the flu face this winter, we can help!

1st flu vaccine clinic is next Wednesday 1st of April at the Karamea Health Centre. No charge if you are 65 or or over, $25 for those younger.
Call us on 037826710 to book, if busy please leave a message. Next clinic date unknown as yet, so book now.

Karamea fam, as you may have heard, the New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) has a planned nurses strike on this week on Tues 2nd and Thursday 4th. This means the Karamea Health Centre will be closed on these days.

As always, if you have an emergency, please call 1 1 1 immediately, emergency services will respond.

If you have general health queries, you can call Healthline 0800 611 116

You can also call Ka Ora on 0800 252 672 for virtual nurse or doctors appointments.

Please note that our team is on-call for 111 emergencies 24hrs every day.

The Health Centre is closed on Christmas day and Boxing day.

If you have any medical urgency on those days, please call the clinic number and follow the message to get to the after-hours service.
