Karamea fam, as you may have heard, the New Zealand Nurses Organisation (NZNO) has a planned nurses strike on this week on Tues 2nd and Thursday 4th. This means the Karamea Health Centre will be closed on these days.

As always, if you have an emergency, please call 1 1 1 immediately, emergency services will respond.

You can also call Ka Ora on 0800 252 672 for virtual nurse or doctors appointments.

We are doing flu and covid vaccines at the Health Centre, but if you are in the area on Wednesday the lovely team from Poutini Waiora are doing a clinic outside the Little Wanganui Hotel on Wednesday this week from 9am to 11am. All welcome!
