Experienced Pharmacy Technician Wanted (Toniq)

We’re looking for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team.

This role suits someone who can hit the ground running, is confident in the dispensary, and knows their way around Toniq.

What you’ll be doing:

Dispensing and processing scripts accurately using Toniq
Managing stock and keeping the dispensary running smoothly
Supporting pharmacist and keeping workflow efficient
Assisting customers when needed

What we need:

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Experience using Toniq (preferred)
Strong attention to detail
Fast, efficient, and reliable
Easy to work with

What you get:

We’ve teamed up with Emergency Consult so you can now talk to a NZ registered doctor right here in the pharmacy.

This service is designed to complement local GP care and give you another convenient option when you need timely medical advice.

We’ll set you up in our private consult room and connect you with a doctor via secure video. If needed, prescriptions can be sent directly to us for dispensing.

Great for things like:
• Infections
• Skin concerns
• General medical advice

We’re looking for a reliable, switched-on person to join our team as a Part-Time Trainee Pharmacy Technician.

This role suits someone who wants to work in healthcare, likes helping people, and is keen to learn. No previous pharmacy experience is required — we’ll train the right person.

What the role involves
Supporting the pharmacist and senior technicians day to day
Dispensing assistance (training provided)
Serving customers at the counter and over the phone
Stock ordering, receiving, and putting stock away
General pharmacy housekeeping and organisation
Helping with services like blister packs, paperwork, and admin
Learning pharmacy systems, medicines, and procedures over time

What we’re looking for
Reliable and punctual (this is non-negotiable)
Friendly and comfortable talking to customers
Good attention to detail
Willing to learn and take instruction
Able to work as part of a team
Calm under pressure and happy to stay busy

Hours
Part-time hours (to be discussed)
Some flexibility required

Training
Full on-the-job training provided
Support to work towards a Pharmacy Technician qualification if suitable
