Finished up our time of training with the brilliant

Who knew how inspiring it was to add a Yin education to a Yang teachers books. So grateful.

The learning space is such a humbling time, a great opportunity to dig deep and be honest with yourself in where you need to grow and the most nourishing time of connection with others! Thanks to the beautiful bunch of Wāhine who hung out at Numi this week.

I’m not in the habit of filming bedtime routines BUT since we started doing this, I felt so passionately about telling other people how beneficial this is.

My kids are.. absolutely wild. Pure boy energy. Often found running, jumping off height and punching (mostly each other or my bum for some reason) so we’ve started adding in this pre bed Vocalising.

Aum’s, hum’s, singing, it all stimulates the vagus nerve helping shift your body into the parasympathetic nervous system, helping us arrive into that rested, calming, healing place.
So for busy wee folk it’s such a nice way to just get them to start to down regulate (chill the f out) Which doesn’t appear to happen too often during the jumping chaos that is the majority of the day.

Not only do i instantly see this guy calm down, it’s such a beautiful moment of connection in our day 🤍😭

Next week we have coming to visit for a week long teacher training.

So there will be a couple changes to the schedule for next week only.

No F45 classes.
No Tuesday 7am at Numi &
No 12.10 with me (this class is being covered)
Friday 9.15 at Numi will be at 9 instead.

Sorry for any inconvenience, back to normal the following week with a new set of yoga skills to share with you.

Big week,
A new lunch time class starting at & i am covering a class at .studio for .reset who’s just casually smashed out a Ironman championship in Hawaii.
Also you’ll notice a new summer time for Saturday morning, now we are all out of hibernation and in to the start of summer socialising I’m taking note of the need for Saturday sleep ins and starting at 8am ✨

I first discovered at last years
A clear head and no over indulging was necessary due to being there for work, teaching a class in Wendy’s wellness area and having both my kids, but I still wanted to feel like I was part of the party collective with a drink in hand while I hit the d floor.

Thinking all about the beautiful people who have trusted coming away with me, thinking about the people that return again for more and how much I just love the energy of retreat!
