Natural living is created one decision at a time. Hosted by natural product maker Becky Cashman We are a family business based in Northland NZ.

We are learning about our giant footprint on this earth, and making it smaller and healthier each day. We run our 5 acre property organically complete with cows, goats, sheep, ducks and chickens. We make choices to reflect our growing awareness of chemicals, waste, and consumption. But more importantly we make choices to reflect our ever growing awareness of love which is growing through our family and community (the world- and all of YOU).

Spiral for flexibility in challenging conditions. This newly downed tree had grown in spiral branches to handle life next to the lake where to SouWest wind roars onto it.

Oh the berry show on these palms. Berries go red, birds go all gymnastics to get them, and then there's a red berry S^$T SHOW on the decks surrounding. Beautiful, but deadly to walk on!

In the simplest form, you vote with your dollar. When you put your hard-earned dollars towards cheap, extractive products, we all lose. B Corp as a movement is growing very quickly, especially here in New Zealand and Australia. One of the cool things about being a small business is getting to know and support other small businesses. I've been cheering on Solid Sustainable Oral Care for a couple of years, and last year got a couple of chances to spend some time with Laura the founder.

And I like her!

You might already Solid's oral care products in your life. Laura and I had the idea that we might share quite a lot of the same beautiful community. So, I'm interested to hear, are you already a Solid customer?

If you haven't tried this way of doing toothpaste, I recommend. I've been using their products for about three years now, and you don't need much to feel amazing, happy, fresh teeth. When you're done with the jar, Solid accepts them back and washes and re-uses them. They reckon you can get 30 uses out of a jar. That's pretty great.

Been thinking about the markers on the track. So much a part of the reasurrance that you are indeed on the right track. Track life is quite simple, and over a few days the mind quiets. Wondering what the orange marker version is in daily life. What do you think? What's the markers in your day that give you the feeling you're on the right track? Would love some ideas. So far I've got meditate daily and take a walk in the morning- those are my strongest markers.

Te Urewera, thank you for allowing us to come close to you. Wild, honest country and strong people willing to allow us to belong for a few days. Fascinated by the legal personhood for this area, a world first granted in 2014, in an effort to weave two world views into a shared understanding and respect.

The boots were awesome, and the body remembered how to move over track. The great walk was mind-blowing for being amongst the ancient beech. Te Urewera is a world treasure. Spirit full from taking a break. Shifting gears to re-tame the body for the rhythm of school year. How about you? Transition treating you ok?

Offline! Headed to Lake Waikaremoana to walk for 4 days, the boots coming out of retirement to do a tramp with gorgeous daughter Helena. The guys headed up to Auckland for slalom kayaking. Late summer missions for all of us. Keeping it going. You too hey? Got a few more summer plans?
