Mother’s Day means something different for every woman. For some, it’s filled with love and cuddles. For others, it’s a reminder of loss, longing, or something more complicated. Wherever you’re at, in the thick of motherhood, hoping to become a mum, grieving a baby or your own mum, I see you and I’m holding space for you.

For me, this year’s been a mix of emotions. After a scary week with Levi having a febrile convulsion, I’ve been reminded just how fragile and precious life is. And as chaotic and humbling as mum life is, the grey hairs, the slight madness, the constant multitasking, I wouldn’t change it. I got a beautiful coffee in bed and thecutest handmade cards… before making my own pancakes and juggling the kids between both of Bryce and I working. Classic!

To the women who walk through the doors of Bump and Beyond - thank you. Thank you for trusting me. You allow me into such a sacred part of your journey. Whether it’s a moment of rest during pregnancy, a pause in the chaos of postpartum, or simply a space to be held, I’ll always be honoured to share that with you.

Big love to all the mamas, mums-to-be, and mother figures out there. You’re doing an incredible job, even when it feels like you’re just surviving on caffeine and cuddles 😆 Sammy x

Postpartum Massage- Supporting you & your baby’s recovery.

At Bump and Beyond, I encourage you to bring your baby to your postpartum massage. I know it can feel overwhelming in the early days, and many places don’t allow this but I want you to feel safe, supported, and welcome.

Postpartum massage is invaluable for your physical, mental, emotional, and hormonal recovery after childbirth. I’m passionate about supporting you as you adjust to life with your baby, helping you feel rested, nurtured, and restored.

I offer postnatal massage from 7 days postpartum, but whenever you feel ready is okay too. If you’ve had a C-section, I recommend seeking medical clearance before booking to ensure you’re healing well.

I’m here to support you on this journey however it looks for you.

1st Pregnancy 😍 When I was pregnant with Jack in 2014, life felt so magical. It was my first pregnancy, and I was completely in awe of my body and the little life growing inside me. Living in Perth, where the heat was relentless, I spent most of my time in swimwear, embracing my growing bump and the changes that came with it.

I loved my body, I loved my bump but it wasn’t always easy. As my belly grew, breathing became harder. There were moments when I felt like I couldn’t get enough air, and sometimes that panic would set in. In those moments I turned to the beach and meditation, letting the rhythm of the waves and my breath ground me again.

Pregnancy can bring so many emotions, from joy to overwhelm. If you’ve been through it, I’d love to hear what helped you manage anxiety during pregnancy? 💛
