Last Friday, a group of us visited The Christmas Barn in Kairanga.
The decorations and displays were stunning — it might be a little early but couldn’t help but feeling a touch of Christmas spirit already! We finished with a lovely lunch in their café.

Winter Recap
Winter may have brought the chilly weather, but it certainly hasn’t slowed us down here at Rosewood Park! ❄️💙

From cosy get-togethers in the community centre to outings and activities further afield, our residents have kept busy and made the most of the season.

Here are just a few photos – lovely reminders that it’s the people and the laughter that bring the real warmth to winter.

On Saturday a group of our ladies enjoyed a trip to Waipukurau Taniwha Daffodil to pick there own daffodils. The sun was out but it was certainly a very windy day! The daffodils were a lovely sight to see and made the outing all the more special.

The ladies stopped at Hatuma Café for a lovely lunch before heading home the perfect way to end a great day out together.

These wonderful ladies have once again been busy creating for some very special causes.
Their latest included beautifully made vests, cardigans, booties, hats and even rabbit teddies. All lovingly donated to the neo natal unit in Palmerston North Hospital. They have also knitted cosy blankets and hats gifted to Vincent de Paul.

But it’s not just about needles and yarn, each week these clever ladies come together to share ideas, swap patterns, enjoy a cuppa and have a good chat.

The photos say it all – a mix of skill, creativity, and kind hearts at work. 🌸

This morning a group of us enjoyed a trip to the Kapiti Chocolate Factory we got to see a demonstration, watching the magic happen and a little taste testing too! 😋

Then we stopped for a lovely lunch at Harrison’s Gardens.
