Hello Beautiful Souls, welcome to Monday! We’re on the last stretch before Christmas and it can be a very busy time as we wrap up the last few jobs at work that need to be done or are busy with children and family. These days our lives can be anything but still. We are so busy ‘doing’ we forget we too need time and stillness.
If this time of year is making you feel stressful and anxious, Lepidolite and Lepidocrocite are fabulous crystals to help relieve those feelings and encourage healing and self-care.

Lepidolite: Calming – Dreams – Healing – Natural Lithium – Stress, Anxiety, Depression
Lepidolite is a stone of calm, trust, and acceptance. It has a strong relaxing and calming effect. It brings hope and is a stone of transformation in that it helps one get through transitions with trust that everything will ultimately turn out for the best.
Emotionally, lepidolite has natural lithium so is excellent for healing stress, anxiety, depression, despondency, PTSD, anger, and other traumas, panic attacks, and addictions. Physically, lepidolite is helpful for healing of glands, immune system, skin, nails, hair, DNA, enzyme balance, addiction, and general healing. Lepidolite is related primarily to the heart and crown chakras. Lepidolite can also be used for dreamwork, rebirthing, and for dream recall.

Lepidocrocite: Emotional Release – Self-Love - Healing
Lepidocrocite aids in emotional release and connecting with one's inner child. It's thought to calm and soothe the emotional body, helping to alleviate anxiety, stress, and depression. Additionally, it's associated with promoting forgiveness, self-love, and the release of pent-up anger and resentment. In terms of physical health, some believe it supports the circulatory system and may help with conditions related to the blood and skin.

Hello, beautiful souls! Welcome to Friday! The weather outside is a bit yuck, so come and join me as we explore the warmth that a crystal can bring us simply by being in its presence – Carnelian! The captivating orange glow and depths that Carnelian exudes evoke memories of warm sunsets, and the comforting light of a crackling fire in the hearth. So, grab a hot cup of tea and join me as we discover the wonders of Carnelian.

Carnelian has a rich history spanning millennia, revered by ancient Egyptians for protection it was called the "Sunset Stone," and used for talismans, amulets (like the Tjet for Isis), and placed with mummies for the afterlife; Pharaoh Tutankhamun's death mask featured it. It was used by Romans for courageous signet rings (wax didn't stick), and valued by cultures from the Indus Valley to Sumerians, with early beads found in Bulgaria (c. 5500 BCE). Valued for energy and vitality, it symbolized courage and rebirth, adorned Pharaohs like Tutankhamun, featured in Aaron's Breastplate, and served alchemists, maintaining popularity through the Victorian era and beyond as a symbol of action, creativity, and luck.

Carnelian: Creativity – Ambition - Confidence
Carnelian is known as the ‘Stone of Action’. It is a high energy crystal that helps restore vitality and motivation. It stimulates creativity for new pursuits, strengthens concentration, and brings out undiscovered talents. Carnelian is a crystal of leadership and courage and is believed to help timid speakers become both eloquent and bold. Carnelian gives one the self-confidence, courage, and determination to achieve success in business and other pursuits. It also provides mental clarity to aid decision-making and overcome procrastination.

Hello, beautiful souls! I wanted to share with you these adorable little ‘pocket rockets’ that I’ve added to the website under the crystals section—tiny Labradorite pocket stones! They’re incredibly mesmerizing with their flash and are just the perfect size to carry with you wherever you go. And don’t carry your heart on your sleeve—carry it in your pocket with these beautiful Amethyst hearts!

A popular myth tells of an Inuit warrior who saw the Northern Lights trapped inside the rocks. He struck the rocks with his spear, freeing most of the lights, but some remained trapped within, creating the iridescent stone known today as labradorite. In the 1770’s missionaries brought labradorite to Europe, its unique beauty led to its widespread popularity, and it became a sought-after gem. So, how do we use this beautiful crystal today?
