Hello, beautiful souls! Today, we have a gorgeous day out. Many of you are getting back into the rhythm of work and finding your swing again. If you’re feeling a bit stressed or disoriented, I have the crystal for you. I often recommend adding crystals to your power box, and Green Calcite and Aragonite are excellent choices!

Green Calcite is a very soothing crystal and a powerful healer of the heart chakra. It relieves emotions such as anger, resentment, and irritability, and nurtures positive traits such as love, altruism, and compassion.

Simply holding a piece of Green Calcite and taking in deep breaths is said to quiet the mind, promote relaxation, and relieve stress. Hello Beautiful Souls, welcome to mid-week!
Today let’s delve into the mystery of Clear quartz and see how it was used by our ancestors.

Historically known as "rock crystal," has been revered for thousands of years across global civilizations, including Egypt, Greece, and Rome, primarily as a symbol of purity, power, and divine connection. Ancient Greeks called it krystallos (meaning "ice"), believing it to be eternally frozen water. Egyptians carved it into protective amulets and, along with Roman elites, used it for its supposed cooling properties. In the Middle Ages, it was used for scrying (crystal balls) and worn by leaders to symbolize divine power. Scottish Highland healers used it as "charm stones" to cure livestock and for personal protection. So how do we use this wonderful crystal today?

Hello Beautiful Souls! Well, it’s a marvelous night for a moondance, as tonight will be a full moon. The full moon is a powerful time for your stones. When the lunar energy is at its highest, you can harness the energy that comes from its glowing light.

Once you have cleansed your crystals; either by putting them in a bowl of brown rice; using sage or sage spray to smudge them or by using singing bowls; place them near a window, or on a table where you can leave the curtains open, under direct moonlight for a few hours or ideally overnight. Direct moonlight is best, but if it’s a cloudy night, your crystals can still benefit from the energy during this time. Simply lay them out and set your intentions to charge them.

You can also perform other rituals during this time, such as setting intentions for yourself or creating a sacred space around where you live.

After a nice moon soak your crystals will vibrate with renewed energy and vitality, all set to get to work helping us in whatever way is needed. How blessed are we!

Hello, beautiful souls! It’s a stunning day out there today, the cruise ships are in, and Wellington is looking stunning!

Today’s a perfect day to embark on a journey into the enchanting world of Lapis Lazuli, a mystical stone with a rich history spanning over 6,000 years.

Lapis Lazuli has held immense value throughout history. Ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Sumerians, and Babylonians highly esteemed it for its use in jewelry, amulets, and ground into a prized pigment known as ultramarine. In the Middle Ages, ultramarine’s value surpassed that of gold, making it a reserved commodity for holy figures, particularly the Virgin Mary in Christian art. However, the advent of synthetic versions in the 19th century rendered ultramarine obsolete.

Lapis Lazuli held deep mystical significance for Queen Cleopatra, symbolizing power, royalty, and divinity. She incorporated it into her cosmetics, creating the iconic blue eyeshadow that she believed enhanced her intuition and power. Hello Beautiful Souls! Today I thought I would look at the wonderful cards of ‘Wounds to Wisdom’ by Schamet Horsfield. I must say, these are some of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen or owned and trust me I have a lot of cards!!

The artwork is absolutely stunning, and the Guidebook is just as beautiful, with messages that truly tell it like it is.

Today I pulled the card ‘Hope’, which for me is something I have perhaps been lacking in lately. We all have those times in our lives where we sit and say “Really Universe? Are you kidding!” Doubt, anger and hopelessness creep in like an insidious disease. The truth of the matter is that sometimes reality sucks – it just does. But today I was shown, there is always hope.

Schamet, says it beautifully when she says “the light of Hope guides you through uncertainty and adversity. You are being reminded that Hope is the choice of believing in positive outcomes and the trust that, in positive outcomes, and the trust that despite challenges, growth and renewal are possible.”

We have many beautiful oracle cards at the Capricorn Spirit, sometimes, we just need to see it to stop and rethink our thinking. Come in and see if you can find the cards that will bring you some answers or at least help you start asking the right questions, for each day is a blessing, sometimes we just need to look to see it.
