Oh hey there, long time no post! But tonight 2 pros cracked some new and significant PR's - Nick made it to the 240kg Deadlift Club and Hugh set a 235kg PR also, post-shoulder surgery!

Hey ya'all - as a registered New Zealand business and as a Gym, from Dec 3rd we're required to check your vaccine pass upon arrival so that any number of people - new or old members - can train together without the additional obligations and restrictions tied to the upcoming commencement of the Traffic Light system.

Your pass is valid for 6 months after we view it, so it would need to be re-checked then also.

We competed in the Crossfit Open over the prior 3 weekends and the biggest buzz for me is to see you guys spin out the tail-end of it buzzing and deconstructing your workout and performances and having a solid time. It is a stressful event but you guys did great. I only achieve because you guys all chime in and help out - either through laughs, jokes, blood, sweat and tears.

Keep aiming up because if I can get here out of the rough-as-guts facility we have, then you can also. Goals?

Essentially this (new) benchmark WOD is a deconstructed Devil Press, plus Devil Press. Nasty and hard. If you break 20 minutes, you're a star!! Give it a go!
