I found I was giving advice and wishing to help them. I decided it would be a good thing to follow through with some training. I chose to do my first training with Tony Robbins after attending Unleash the Power Within in Australia. and walking across the hot coals. I completed my Strategic Intervention training in 2014. Gaining my qualification as a Strategic Intervention Coach
Recently I have added to this knowledge-based by continuing my training with Mandy Morris at Authentic Living where I qualified as a Love and Authenticity Coach earlier this year 2020. In 2022 I became an Elite Mentorship Trainer and have run several cohorts taking people on a 6-month transformational journey, which has shifted many things in their life. The program is called Elite Mentorship Forum.

Iโ€™m not the coach for you if you want to stay in your grief.
Yesโ€”we must grieve.
We should cry, scream, rage, remember.

To feel the weight of losing someone we love.
To be angry at them for leaving.
To feel the ache in our bones.

Butโ€ฆ
Donโ€™t let grief dictate your life.
Donโ€™t keep peeling the scar open.

I nearly ended my own life once.
I know that kind of pain.
And Iโ€™m so grateful I failedโ€”because life has more to give.

โ€ข The greater your capacity and your resilience, the more energy you have available.
โ€ข Having more energy gives you greater ability to self-regulate your emotions and behaviours so you can choose how to respond rather than react automatically.
โ€ข Learning and applying the coherence techniques can increase your energy reserves, thereby increasing your resilience capacity.

Youโ€™ve likely experienced times when you feel you donโ€™t have much energy and may have used phrases like โ€œIโ€™m running on fumes,โ€ or โ€œIโ€™m drainedโ€ to describe the feeling of being tired. Itโ€™s common that when your energy is low and you feel drained, it can be difficult to think clearly, perform tasks well and bounce back, all of which are good indications that your resilience is low.

๐’๐จ, ๐ฐ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ž๐ฑ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ข๐ญ?

A key word in the definition is ๐’„๐’‚๐’‘๐’‚๐’„๐’Š๐’•๐’š, which is how much of some thing you have. You can think of your current resilience capacity as the amount of energy you have stored in your inner battery. Itโ€™s how much energy you can draw upon to handle your daily challenges and tasks. Resilience is the energy you have available to use not only physically, but also mentally, emotionally and spiritually. When you have a high level of resilience or a fully charged inner battery, you have greater capacity to remain calm, think clearly and be in control of your emotions so you donโ€™t overreact. When you are resilient, you are better able to bounce back and recover faster after challenging situations. This helps offset much of the lingering wear and tear that affects not only you, but the people around you too.

By building your resilience youโ€™ll be better prepared, adapt more quickly, make smarter decisions and remain clear in situations that arise throughout the day. Having greater resilience doesnโ€™t mean you will not find yourself in difficult situations. What it does mean is youโ€™ll have an internal capacity that will give you the ability, energy and resolve to handle whatever comes up.

On the other hand, similar to a drained car battery making it impossible to start your car, when your inner battery is depleted, there isnโ€™t energy to draw from when you need it, making it difficult to be your best and respond well in tough, and often, in very ordinary situations. You also may end up draining even more energy.

A key in building and sustaining resilience is managing how you spend and renew your energy. The goal is to not waste energy unnecessarily and to effectively replenish your energy reserves.

Learning and applying coherence techniques can build your energy reserves, giving you more energy to draw from when you need it. If you do not monitor and manage your energy, you can become depleted, making it more difficult to handle daily situations well.

Plugging energy leaks also is important in building and sustaining your energy reserves. Greater reserves enhance your ability to maintain your mental focus and clarity and your emotional composure throughout the day.

A very important way to renew energy and recharge your inner battery is by getting enough uninterrupted, regenerative sleep. Sleep is one of the most basic ways the body renews its energy levels. Sometimes though, itโ€™s difficult to get a good, rejuvenating sleep. The techniques you will learn can help you gain more of the benefits of sleep.

Taking personal responsibility is not always easy, but itโ€™s one of the most empowering steps you can take toward a fulfilled and authentic life.

We often hear phrases like, โ€œI couldnโ€™t help it,โ€ or โ€œIt wasnโ€™t my fault.โ€ While external events can trigger our emotions, the way we respond is completely within our control. Owning that truth is where real growth begins.

Hereโ€™s what Iโ€™ve learned:
โœ… Your emotions are your responsibility. No one can make you feel a certain wayโ€”your reaction creates your experience.
โœ… Triggers are opportunities. When someoneโ€™s words or actions affect you, itโ€™s a chance to reflect. Why did it bother you? Is there an old belief youโ€™re holding onto that no longer serves you?
โœ… Growth comes from ownership. Whether itโ€™s a conversation, a challenge, or a misstep, recognising your part allows you to learn and move forward.

When you take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings, and actions, you reclaim your power. Lifeโ€™s challenges become stepping stones rather than stumbling blocks.

So, where can you start? Take a moment to reflect:

What beliefs are you holding onto that may no longer align with who you are?
How can you respond to challenges with intention rather than reaction?
Whatโ€™s one small step you can take today to own your part in creating the life you want?
Taking personal responsibility isnโ€™t about blaming yourselfโ€”itโ€™s about empowering yourself to grow, adapt, and thrive.

Ever felt like pulling your hair out when a software update throws everything into chaos? ๐Ÿ™ƒ That just happened to me, and I found myself asking, What did I do wrong?

Life is no different. We constantly get "upgrades" to how we think and feel. Sometimes, the new way feels awkward or doesnโ€™t work as expected. Other times, itโ€™s the old patterns still running in the background, driving us crazy.
