Thank you to all of our incredible patients, colleagues, referrers and stakeholders for your continued support through 2023. We are truly grateful to work with you and alongside you, and look forward to another fantastic year in 2024!

We will close at 3pm today and reopen again on Monday 8th January. If you require any urgent care during that time please contact your GP or see your local after hours, otherwise we will get back to you upon our return!

🌟 We still have a few appointments left the final week leading up to Christmas Day with either Lauchlin or Ashleigh, if you would like to nab one before they're all gone then we would love to help. Ashleigh has opened up her books with more appointments in the week leading up to Christmas and the week of Monday 8th Jan when we return for 2024.

⚠️COVID ALERT LEVEL 2 UPDATE⚠️

Woohoo! To all our wonderful patients, as of 11.59pm Tuesday 7th September the country (excluding Auckland) moves to Alert Level 2 and we have reinstigated our Covid Level 2 Protocol.

This means:
🧽We will be increasing our already strong cleaning protocols, and resuming 2m physical distancing.
😷We will be asking you health screening questions prior to your appointment and ensuring you have not been to any Covid locations of interest
🧴Please remember to use the hand sanitiser provided as you enter and leave the clinic and sign in on your NZ Covid Tracer App
⏰ Please remember to be on time for your appointment, not too early or late to reduce risk of crossover with other patients
💰 We have a contactless eftpos machine and will be encouraging use of this for everyone payment
😷 We will also be wearing the appropriate PPE required

❤️We do this to keep you, our staff and the community safe.

If you are unwell please contact us via phone or email and we can either reschedule you or arrange for a telehealth appointment.

We are contacting all patients with existing bookings due over lockdown first to prioritise these appointments and in particular all the high risk patients who will be seen first.

⚡️HOW TO STOP YOUR ORTHOTIC SQUEAKING⚡️

Options you can try so people don’t think you’re just tootin’ from too much gluten:

1. Lightly rub a bar of handsoap around the back of the heel cup of the orthotic on the thermoplastic shell
or
2. Lightly dust talcum powder in the heel of the interior of the shoe

✨either option creates a thin barrier to reduce friction and the sound between the orthotic shell and the shoe’s heel counter ✨

⚠️ COVID ALERT LEVEL 4 UPDATE ⚠️

With the Government's announcement to escalate to COVID Alert Level 4 at 11.59pm tonight, Resonance Hutt City Podiatry is now closed for the initial 3 day lockdown.

We are currently in the process of making contact with all patients with appointments already booked with us to reschedule as soon as we are able to.

If you have an urgent matter that must be attended to in order to ensure your continuing health, please ring the clinic on 04 260 3074 to discuss, and we will do as much as we can over the phone or via online video consultation with you. Our phones are diverted to allow this as we are all working from home.

We will keep updated as the situation changes.

We look forward to returning to clinic once the Alert Levels reduce.

Please ensure that you stay at home and avoid contact with anyone outside your home in order to prevent any further spreading of the virus.

Take care of yourselves, and know that we are only a phone call away if you need anything, as sore feet don't stop! We will miss seeing all of your lovely faces!
