We provide you with information and options regarding the aesthetics and functional needs of your prosthesis/appliance, which allows you to get involved throughout the entire process. Your journey with us does not end at the final fitting appointment. We are committed to any follow-up service or advice that may be required after you have received your product to ensure we have helped improve your quality of life. We encourage a family member or support person to accompany you if needed to make the process more comfortable for you. We also offer referrals to specialists if needed. Here are 5 commonly mixed‑up terms and what they actually mean:

Clasp – the small metal component that helps anchor a partial denture.

Partial denture – a removable appliance that replaces some missing teeth

Reline – adding new material to the fitting surface to improve comfort and fit

Clinical Dental Technician – a qualified clinician who designs, makes, and fits your dentures. A dentist falls under an entirely different qualification for oral health.

False Teeth or Dentures – “teeth” can be confusing as these commonly refer to your natural teeth.

This is a step that shouldn’t go overlooked. When it comes to your dentures they need to be just as clean as your mouth. Otherwise this can cause staining and calculus to form and build up over time. It is always good to continue caring for your natural teeth and gums as well. Give them a good brush before putting your dentures in and after you take them out.

Try following these tips so you don’t have to come in for a deep clean anytime soon!
