Meningococcal vaccines are FREE for 13 to 25 year-olds moving into or living in a boarding school hostel or hall of residence.

2024 flu season began on 2 April 2024. The flu vaccine is free for those who are most vulnerable to becoming very sick if they get the flu.

For the 2024 flu season, the vaccine is funded for everyone:
- 65 years old and over
- for those under 65 who suffer from:
* with long-term conditions (like asthma, diabetes or cardiovascular disease)
* with reduced immune function
* who are pregnant
* with specific mental health conditions or addiction issues
* 4 years old and under who have been hospitalised for respiratory illness or have a history of significant respiratory illness.

Eastbourne Pharmacy is seeking a New Zealand qualified pharmacist to work full time in supporting a friendly, family based community. Get to know your customers and their families while integrating into the community. A wonderful work environment with summer air conditioning and winter heating. All ammenities close at hand. A butcher, vegetable market, super market and a number of outstanding cafes. Eastbourne pharmacy is located on the eastern side of Wellington harbour. Renowned for beaches and breath taking walks. This area can be know as the ‘Riviera’ of Wellington.

The successful candidate will have New Zealand pharmacist registration, and be able to work in New Zealand. The following attributes are required.

Eye for detail and precision.

Excellent communication skills, empathy and understanding (customers need an ear that can listen, and a confident voice to dispense advice)

Well groomed.

Punctuality is a must.

Able to work under pressure.

An ability to prioritise as it is not always first in first out.
Ability to work with others and or alone.

Salary is negotiable upon qualifications and experience.
