Introducing Heidi: AI-powered support for doctors

We’re excited to share that some of our doctors are now using “Heidi”; an advanced AI tool designed to enhance efficiency and accuracy in patient care. The GP will ask your permission first and if you decline, that is completely fine, and it will not be used.

Heidi is a recording programme that sits quietly in the background on a doctor’s computer, transcribing the consultation into a clinical note. This allows the doctor to be fully engaged in the conversation rather than typing into a computer.

After the consultation, the doctor reviews and finalises the notes before adding them to the patient’s record.

All recordings are securely processed and automatically deleted after a set timeframe, with no direct connection to patient records, ensuring complete confidentiality and privacy.

Due to the increase in operating costs of our practice, there will be an increase in the standard consultation fees.

0 –13 years FREE
14 – 17 years - from $42 to $45
18 and over - from $58 to $62

The last fee increase for this group of patients was August 2024

CSC holder co-payment for
 18 years and older is still $19.50
 14-17 years is $13.00

Flu vaccinations have arrived at the centre. The clinics open on 1st April initially for all those that are funded. If you are unsure if you are funded, please find more information about this here. Flu vaccinations are also available at most pharmacies

The influenza vaccine is used to prevent infection caused by the influenza (flu) virus. Adults are advised to get a flu vaccination each year to protect themselves and to reduce the spread of flu.
