I’ve had the deep honour of sharing my 432Hz crystal singing bowls—each one tuned to a different chakra—with souls at every stage of life.
Toddlers wobbling toward the sound. Elders closing their eyes with a soft smile. Animals curling up, or lifting their heads, curious. Even those preparing to take their final breaths.
And every time, without fail, something happens:
A hush falls.
Breath deepens.
The whole room seems to remember stillness.
At baby showers, the bowls sing and even the tiniest babies and wagging dogs fall into a quiet peace.
In one-on-one healing sessions, I watch faces soften, tension melt away.
The deep tones—the root and sacral bowls—ground healthy bodies with ease.
Many dogs sleep soundly through the low vibrations... until a high tone stirs their curiosity and they peek up with shiny eyes and a waggy tail.
Cats, in their effortless way, simply nap and absorb or, remove themselves promptly.
But when, as an End-of-life Doula, I play for those nearing the end of their journey, the story changes...
The lower tones, once grounding, can feel heavy. Overwhelming, painful even.
And so, I shift.
I stay with the lighter bowls, the higher tones—offering space, breath, softness.
Letting go is not about anchoring.
It’s about floating.
Science is beginning to catch up to what sound healers have always known: sound can shift stress, pain, emotion. 432Hz is said to resonate more naturally with the Earth’s heartbeat.
But honestly, the real proof is in the stillness that fills the room when the bowls sing.
In the way we remember what it feels like to be whole.
