Happy Monday,
Time to acknowledge and congratulate and this time its Troy Vujcich, our latest Athlete of the Month.
How did you discover Fit365 and why did you decide to give it a go?
Found Fit365 through Instagram and talking with mates, decided to give it a go as I was sick of my normal strength training routine and wanted to incorporate more cardio to stay fitter
What were you doing sport/exercise wise before Fit365?
Free diving/spearfishing/fishing, occasional football and tennis game but mostly just strength training
What is your favourite exercise?
Rope climbs maybe, hard to choose
And most hated exercise?
Probably wall balls
What changes in your health and performance have you observed since starting Fit365?
Definitely noticed a higher level of aerobic fitness as well as increase in strength. My diving fitness also improved and haven’t been sick at all this year so an improvement in health in general and just feel good after smashing a class out
What is one word that people use to describe you?
Dedicated maybe not too sure
What advice would you give to someone with regards to starting strength and conditioning training with Fit365?
Don’t start too heavy, focus on your strengths to start with and everything else will come together. Most importantly turn up as often as possible and don’t let yourself make excuses
Something nobody knows about you or would be surprised to know about you?
I used to hate the idea of going to a gym class but now I think I’d struggle to go back to solo workouts
Favourite activity outside of Fit365?
Diving
Where is your favourite place to eat in Mangawhai?
Toast
What type of music gets you pumped up for a workout?
House/edm
Proudest accomplishment at Fit365?
Bar muscle up
What are your fitness and or health/fitness goals for 2025?
Go to the gym at least twice a week while travelling and just maintain strength/body which might be difficult haha
Which other Fit365 member (s) inspires you the most?
Probably Courtney, she’s a machine, and Ethan’s strength/size.
Firstly Troy you will be missed! But like your training, you’ll hit your traveling like a bat out of hell and smash it!!
On our first meeting I knew you had stamina but wasn’t sure you could back it up……you can. You gave every session 100% and on most days exceeded the expected goals. You did it quietly and confidently and it was cool to watch you really come out of your shell over the last couple of months.
It wasn’t all smooth though, you had your sticky areas namely wrists, shoulders and hips but you slowed down when needed and listened and you got there. And then hello “Bar Muscle Up”. I think Krita and I woke the neighbours when you got over, proud Coaches ;-).
Have an amazing time overseas and we’ll see you when you get back!
