Feedback on the work of Langima'a from Dr Luseane Tupou He-'i-Vakaola Sela Vakalahi Kauvaka:
Thank you so much, Saane Langi, for making my day so special and for filling it with such abundant blessings and joy. I truly could not have imagined anyone more fitting to fulfil this role. Your words spoke life into the day, and for that I am deeply grateful.
I did not choose you without reason. Growing up as a young Vaine Moʻonia youth member, you were the pastor I always remembered, the one I eagerly looked forward to hearing the Word from, and the one whose messages consistently left a lasting imprint on my heart. My parents and Meleane can attest to this. When you speak, you breathe life. You honour God with such grace and conviction, and your words touch young souls like mine in a profound way.
Thank you for accepting my request and for making the day so beautiful. Your message, “my works + His plans = victory,” was incredibly powerful and deeply scriptural, reminding me that “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established” (Proverbs 16:3). Every word you shared in opening the celebration spoke directly to my spirit. I am truly honoured, privileged, and beyond grateful to have you as part of my journey.
To your lovely husband, Peni, thank you so much for showing so much love. I also wish to share a testimony with you. During my second or third year of Health Science, you were a guest speaker at one of our Friday youth programmes. Your message was powerful. I had never encountered a leader who was so raw, honest, transparent, and who spoke with such conviction. Through your own testimonies, you demonstrated how God works in real, everyday life. It was through your words that I was no longer afraid to step into this world burdened by fear, anxiety, and worry. Your testimony strengthened my faith and reminded me that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
You are truly a power couple, strengthened by the depth and sincerity of your faith in God. Please continue your good works, for whether you realise it or not, you are changing young lives like mine, and we carry these seeds with us for the rest of our lives.
