One thing that didn't get destroyed in the wind is our swan plants. As you can see the big fat caterpillars are doing really well 👌 and will soon be fluttering Monarch butterflies 🦋

Our Story

Lavender Magic is a dream come true for Pauline Harwood, who wanted to make the change from a very stressful environment to a life more balanced.

Pauline was always in the garden, she studied aromatherapy, herbal medicine, cosmetic chemistry and did a diploma in Natural Skin Care. It was the healing abilities of lavender that drew Pauline towards the herb which is the most used in alternative medicine. She then went on to study lavender and joined the New Zealand Lavender Grower’s Association. Pauline trained and was selected to be a judge of lavender oil before she planted her commercial garden.

The pH lavender Farm, Mt Holdsworth, Wairarapa was purchased as a bare block in 2005 and in 2006, Pauline planted 4000, lavender Angustifolia plants. The farm has won 10 national awards for the quality of it’s pure essential oil, including the most coveted, “Best Lavender Angustifolia” in 2012 and 2013!

In 2011 pH lavender was rebranded to suit the on-line market and “Lavender Magic” was born. Lavender Magic has an increasing range of natural skincare, healing balms, creams, sprays and soaps, free from harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances or colours. As Pauline believes Nature always has the answer. Lavender Magic products are made for your pleasure and health. Enjoy!
