Hi everyone,

After having tirelessly walked the health journey with clients for the past (difficult) three years in the Wairarapa without a break, Leigh is having a very well deserved change of scenery, and is currently travelling. We are very grateful to her for her remarkable contribution to the practice and look forward to seeing some photos from her soon enough!

She will not be available for in-person consultations or treatments at present, but is available for telehealth herbal consultations, as she remains committed to assisting people with their health. Those clients who are interested in booking in with Leigh for a telehealth herbal consultation will be able to do so through the Jing Well Acupuncture website.

For those who have had the privilege of being treated by Leigh, please join me in showing our appreciation for the remarkable help she has been by liking this post.

Jing Well Acupuncture is very pleased to welcome Jade on board! Jade is a Rongoā Māori practitioner, and offers bodywork therapy sessions on Fridays.

Rongoā Māori incorporates Mirimiri, Romiromi and Lomilomi bodywork which is unique to the Pacific Ocean nation. Mirimiri and Romiromi are traditional Māori healing bodywork techniques that aim to restore and rebalance the body. These techniques involve the application of pressure, spine and joint alignment techniques and the use of hands, feet, elbows and bodyweight to work the muscles and tissue.

Great news! We are so pleased to announce that Jing Well Acupuncture now has a very skilled Rongoā Māori practitioner on board! Last week I had a Mirimiri bodywork session with Jade to rebalance, increase body alignment and function, increase mental clarity and relieve pain and discomfort from an existing injury. I found it both rejuvenating and relaxing and left with an increased sense of calmness and motivation.

Jade is available for Rongoā Māori bodywork sessions on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from this week.

Costs: for a 1 hr session, it is $100
For a 1 hr 30 min session, it is $150.
