Monthly Ladies Brunch on Monday 22 September saw candidates for upcoming elections visit, share kai and answer questions from our group. Next brunch event will be Monday 20 October 11am in the lounge at the health centre. The invitation to attend extends to anyone in our community; we have Hato Hone St. John demonstrating 3 Steps to Life and shared brunch to follow

What’s On in September?
Normal clinic hours at 1 Bengston Street, Eketāhuna throughout the month.

Get in touch with the nursing staff for referrals to use our counselling services, health coaching with Megan, exercise with Jono.
Get involved with well-being activities: Weekly Chair Yoga Mondays 9.45am St.Cuthberts Hall and Menz Shed Wednesdays 9.30am.

Wairarapa Community Law session Tuesday 2 September 1 - 3 pm
Our AGM Is Thursday 18 September 5.30pm
Ladies Brunch Monday 22 September 11am at St.Cuthberts Hall
Gym facilities are open during normal clinic hours.

Flu vaccines are still available at Eketāhuna Health Centre

“Influenza (flu) can be a serious illness and poses a significant public health issue in New Zealand.
Immunisation provides the best protection against influenza and reduces the chance of serious illness and hospitalisation.
Eketāhuna Health Centre would like to invite members of our community to book in for a flu vax. If you are eligible, this may be free. Please call 06 375 8188

Last week community coordinator Emma and volunteers Kat and Ali cooked for Tararua Community Services making over eighty meals of mince and mash. The venison mince was supplied by Waiwaste Food Rescue.
