Today we had Lachie in observing Ben and the clinic as part of his requirements for his second year of chiropractic college.
It was a pleasure having him in our practice, the patients were very willing to have a student sit in on their consults (they were all asked and gave their consent ahead of time) and he got heaps out of his day with us.
Thanks for coming to visit Lachie! All the best with the rest of your studies up in Auckland.

Ben spent the weekend in Sydney at a Syntropy - Chiropractic Training seminar. ✈📍
The team teaching this content do it all around the world and this seminar is aimed at doing a deep dive into spinal biomechanics and ergonomics for the chiropractor to refine their craft.
We covered:
✅ More comfortable, precise adjustments for the patient
✅ Less stress and strain on the chiropractor’s body while delivering the adjustments
✅ Greater longevity in practice and ways to conserve energy for a long career ahead
Small refinements in biomechanics can make a big difference, for both patient outcomes and practitioner sustainability.
Ben has already started putting these refinements and insights into practice this week and is enjoying it! 🎉🙌

Our chiropractors are ACC treatment providers.
This means if you sustain an injury, your chiropractor can lodge an ACC claim for you.
You will be supported throughout the entire healing process.
We offer same-day on site X-rays if they are clinically required.
We can also make referrals to orthopedic specialists, G.Ps, ultrasound sonographers, or any other healthcare professionals.

Introducing Lexus Hunter.
Lex is one of our sponsored athletes who will be competing in Waka Ama at Lake Karipiro, Cambridge. Monday 12th – Thursday 15th January.
Lex is competing in the under 16’s 500m and under 19s 250m dash race. If she qualifies in her individual event, this will allow her complete in the Waka Ama Worlds in Singapore in August this year!
Lex has been under care with Ben for the last 6 months.
She is amazed at how chiropractic has helped her performance and strength with paddling. She also finds that the adjustments help her body to recover quickly from the all the hard training sessions she’s been putting in

We are proud to be the longest standing Chiropractic clinic in the Wairarapa. Formerly known as Field Chiropractic Clinic, Ben and Monique Bruce bought the practice from Terry Field in 2015. In 2016 we rebranded to become Wairarapa Chiropractic. Since then we have grown from a husband and wife team to 4 chiropractors, Dr Ben Bruce, Dr Jo-anne Twiggins, Dr Angus McKinnon and Dr Leo Van Lierop who are supported by 5 chiropractic assistants (C.A’s).
From the moment you walk through the front door, we want you and your family to feel at home here. Our friendly team of C.A’s will greet you and make sure you’re well looked after. We realise that sometimes it can be a bit daunting trying something like chiropractic for the first time, or seeing a different chiropractor, so we try our utmost to create an atmosphere where you can relax and feel comfortable.
We have a designated kids and babies area so you can bring your little ones along, there is an area of privacy for you to feed bubs and a nappy change area as well if needed.
We are the only chiropractic clinic in the Wairarapa to offer x-ray facilities onsite, and patient safety is paramount to us. We offer hands-on manual adjustments, instrument-assisted methods, as well as a range of other techniques.
Our highly trained chiropractors are here to provide you with quality care, whether it be short-term relief from niggly pain that is stopping you from having the fun you want, to a more involved approach to stabilise your spine to help prevent annoying relapses and keep you at your best.
We are trained to look after all ages, from new-born right through to the elderly. First and foremost we will listen, and then after all the information is gathered, we will work alongside you to determine the best approach to suit your needs.
