A quick stop for a bit of planning with at the this morning gave me a delightful taste treat! All of their baking is delicious, and these turnovers full of christmassy deliciousness went straight to the top of my favourites list!

Energy cleansing is a favourite topic of mine, and seems to be popular all over tge place at the moment. I wonder if it's the season? Beltane (or samhain in northern hemisphere, so akin to halloween, which was all over the shops!) Yes, different seasons do make us more aware of the spiritual world, as does change to our ordinary path.

Happy anniversary to me! September is celebration month for me, starting with spring and my Mum's birthday (90 this year!) and finishes with the birthday of my very dear sister-in-our-hearts.... and in between I celebrate two reiki anniversaries.

I learnt reiki level 1 after having been absolutely blown away by it, this month in 1992! 32 years ago.
To say it Changed My Life sounds melodramatic but it genuinely did in many many ways 💜🙏🏻 (including that i have my beloved youngest daughter whom I would never have known, without receiving reiki).

And more recently, I completed my Teacher level ten years ago TODAY!

I could sing the praises of Reiki all day long, but for today I'll let this little tauhou (waxeye) tell you instead. After hitting my window and being very dazed, I scooped her up and held her gently, letting reiki surround her and work its magic. After about ten minutes she fluttered off my hand and sat on my leg in the sunshine for another minute before flying away.

I see adults who struggle to understand why they feel, behave, or react the way they do. It's easy to think "they're adults so why..." but it's important to remember the adult today is shaped by every single yesterday... The early years form core memories and core behaviours, and then experiences can either reinforce that learning, challenge that learning, or offer new learning. Oh, and those extra layers on top are not conveniently labelled for easy identification. The toddler, the tween, teenager, young adult, new parent/older adult, parent of toddlers, teens or teens... 🥴🧐 each trying to navigate a new chapter of their own life, whilst trying to understand their inner workings. Not many have the opportunity to rest and self-reflect with healthy guidance available.
