On Sunday I challenged myself to a bush walk, despite dark clouds building overhead. I thought I'd have plenty of time to stay dry.
When I arrived at the carpark, a family pulled up at the same time. The youngest child was having a complete meltdown, objecting loudly to putting on his shoes. The older two children couldn't get a word in—not that they even tried!
It brought back very familiar memories for me, having raised three children myself. Watching them, I was reminded how powerfully birth order shapes us and creates such distinct personalities within the same family.

It got me wondering:

As for my walk? I emerged from the bush absolutely drenched! Just as I was peeling off my soaked outer layer, out came the family too. Everyone was happy and smiling... that was, until they all piled back into their car! 😊

My cherry tree is truly stunning at the moment and I love looking out at it from my healing room.

Today I took time out to connect with nature and to appreciate the beauty of my flowering cherry tree.
With the lawns freshly mowed, the sun shining and a gentle breeze I decided to do some grounding!
I lay under the tree and watched the clusters of flowers dance about in the breeze, listened to the birds happily chirping and enjoyed the warmth from the sun.

Do you remember how good it felt as a child to just plonk yourself down in the middle of the paddock and gaze up at the blue sky?
Looking up and imagining what animals or shapes we could see?

My challenge to you this weekend is to go outside, plonk yourself on the ground and be present. Use all your senses and take note of how good that makes you feel 🌞

Also, for bonus points, look up the benefits of grounding.
