We understand that this is a particularly busy time with a lot of illness, and it can be frustrating when appointments are not available as soon as you’d like. Please know that our team is doing everything we can to accommodate everyone’s needs as fairly and efficiently as possible.
Appointments are scheduled based on clinical urgency, with priority given to those who are most unwell. This helps us ensure that care is provided where it’s needed most.
We kindly ask that you remain patient, respectful, and courteous—especially to our reception team, who are working hard to support both patients and clinicians. They are here to help you and deserve to be treated with kindness.

Keep well this flu season

🩺 Colds and flu's are circulating in our community. Here’s some advice to keep you and your whānau well, and when to seek medical care.

Self-Care at Home - this is the best place to recover
💧 Drink plenty of water (taking little sips and often)
�🛌 Rest and sleep �
💊 Paracetamol for fevers & body aches�
🤲 Wash hands often and cover coughs/sneezes with a tissue or elbow

When to Seek Medical Advice:

Trouble breathing or chest pain
Can’t keep fluids down/ struggling to remain hydrated
Ongoing fever
Confusion or drowsiness
Pregnant, elderly, or health conditions that can worsen the flu (e.g. asthma, COPD, on medications that weaken your immune system)

Flu symptoms can last for about 1 week, with coughs lasting up to 3-4 weeks.
