Rachel Murphy Shiatsu

Rachel Murphy Shiatsu Shiatsu is an ancient Japanese hands-on healing therapy that works with the whole person, using meridians and acupressure points.

Shiatsu supports a sense of general wellbeing; it helps to relieve stress and tension, improving vitality and health and strengthening the body, mind and spirit. It can help in a wide range of conditions – from specific injuries to more general symptoms of poor health. Through our session, we will explore what your body is calling out for. Discomfort, tension and pain are often ways our bodies communicate to us. Shiatsu is a way of exploring that pain and finding where you may need to be held, met, challenged or supported. I am a fully qualified Shiatsu practitioner from the Bristol School of Shiatsu, and have been practicing in the UK for the past three years.

Come join me in embodying the upwards energy of Spring this Thursday at Souls Unite!

There is a big shift in gear moving from Winter to Spring and we can find ourselves feeling stuck and frustrated in certain areas of our body and / or life.

Using the ancient wisdom of Chinese Medicine and exploring the wood element, particularly our relationship with anger, we will embody this energy through:

🌿 Do-In and movement

🌿 Partner work and discussion

🌿 Visualisation

🌿 We will also touch on the Wood element gifts of clarity, vision, planning, decision making and creativity.

What to bring;

🌱Please wear comfortable clothing to move in and something GREEN (the colour of the wood element)

🌱 Journal and pen

🌱 A special item that is green or that represents wood, plants or Spring for our altar
