We offer over 20 yoga classes per week taught by 8 experienced teachers with a range of styles and backgrounds and so much to share. Facilities include 13 parks behind the building, changing rooms, washroom, shower, mats and all equipment.

I used to think deep healing only happened 1:1.

I thought you had to go private, go solo, go deeper behind closed doors.

But what I’ve learned is that you can receive just as much in a group.

When you’re in a room filled with others breathing, releasing, and surrendering alongside you, the energy moves in waves.

The collective intention amplifies everything.

Someone else’s release opens the door for yours.

Someone else’s breath gives you permission to breathe deeper.

There’s something truly powerful about healing in community. About being reminded that you’re not alone, that we’re all holding and shedding, together.

Meet Annelies – Our New Studio Manager

Some of you have already met Annelies over the past couple of weeks, but we’re so excited to officially introduce her as the new Studio Manager here at House of Wellness!

Originally from the Netherlands, Annelies fell in love with Aotearoa’s beauty and energy six years ago and has since built a life here rooted in movement, connection, and community. A dedicated yoga teacher with training in Vinyasa, Yin, Yoga Nidra, and Inferno Hot Pilates, she brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for holistic wellbeing.

As Studio Manager, Annelies is here to help things run smoothly behind the scenes while continuing to be a friendly face in the studio. Be sure to say hi next time you see her -she can’t wait to keep growing this vibrant, welcoming space with you all.

Aerial Yoga is changing lives in so many ways.

For some, it’s the freedom to move again -opening hips, easing old aches, and finding mobility that had been lost.

For others, it’s the daily feel-good fix - leaving class relaxed, muscles no longer aching, and energy levels lifted.

It’s also building confidence and body awareness.

One member said it’s even improved their wakeboarding, giving them better spatial awareness upside down in the air.

Another, a Dragon Boat coach, found relief in their shoulders, and now paddles with more strength and ease.

Balance, flexibility, strength, weight loss, energy - the results are real, but so is the joy.

People leave these classes lighter, stronger, and proud of what their bodies can do.

It’s about how we rise, again and again.

Life throws us stress, change, and challenges we never saw coming.

Resilience is the quiet strength that helps us adapt, reset, and keep moving forward without losing ourselves in the process.

And here’s the thing: resilience isn’t something you’re born with or without.

It’s something you can grow.

Every time you take a breath before reacting.
Every time you show up for your practice.
Every time you choose rest over burnout.
Every time you come back to yourself.

That’s resilience.

It’s not about being tougher. It’s about being more connected to your body, your breath, your community, and your inner calm.
