Myofascial Release (MFR) is different to regular massage, it uses no oil, the strokes are slower and much less painful than Deep Tissue and the release is much longer lasting than regular massage.

What an honour to be able to learn from Master Mantak Chia himself the art of Abdominal Organ Detox massage at Tao Garden, Chiang Mai this August.

He is going strong at 81 years old with an innocent but witty sense of humour and a very sharp mind. He has written over 50 books on the Tao, Qi Gong, Energy Cultivation, healing, nutrition, sexual alchemy, Astrology and more and used to be a Master in Martial Arts. He has trained 1000s and 1000s of people and now I am one of them , very stoked about that.


I have been studying many different teachings of healing concepts over the last 25 years, from conventional Western Anatomy and Physiology to classic Therapeutic and Sportmassage to Reflexology, Homeopathy, Western Herbs, Chinese Medicine, Functional Nutrition and Minerals, Myofascial Release Therapy, Psychology, Astrology, Ayurveda, Vagus Nerve Regulation , Energy Medicine but I have found a beautiful, simple wholesomeness in the teachings of the 5 Element /Tao Teachings that incorporate a lot wisdom of the above, including seasonal and individual eating and moving, body work, fascia concepts, nerve regulation , energy work and even accurate nutritional advice derived from your birth time..

My recent repeat attending of the Myofascial Release Course by Beth Beauchamp from was a great opportunity to learn from the NZ fascia magician herself. I am happy that more people are keen to try it out and accept that the "no pain no gain" ideas from Deep Tissue massage aren't gaining you the results with persistent pain or injuries that you are after and that the gentler techniques and concepts of MFR are far superior in bringing about pain free ness.
