I’ve had some really beautiful sessions with mums over the last two weeks, and also shared in an online group space about somatic processing in parenthood 💜

This Friday & Saturday I have space for 1:1 sessions (in person & online).
A soft place to land, reconnect, and be supported in the depth of motherhood ✨

First session is Koha 🌿
Message me if you’d like to book or have any questions xx love to hear from you.

Review from a lovely mama 🥰

“Rachael is warm and down to earth. I felt really peaceful and calm in the safe space that she held for me. She offers genuine connection and intuitive guidance. I feel I’ve come away so much lighter and centred, it was lovely to spend that time slowing down and investing in myself.”

After 15 months being deep in motherhood, I’m finally feeling ready to open my space to see clients again. It’s feels exciting but also slightly daunting . Iv no idea how to even use this app anymore, even trying to write this post made my head spin. Not that I will be posting a lot but it’s engaging that part of my brain again. I feel ready and so looking forward to supporting my new community especially the beautiful mamas here. Hence why my first new offering is in honour of the Mother.

Mother means matter, the earth we walk on, the cells of our being. We are ALL created from the Mother, we are all Matter. We are from@the source of creation and that should be deeply held and supported. There is nothing more important.

When we look at our current culture and the world around us, it’s clear that this has been forgotten and that fall out from this is MASSIVE.

There RISE of the Mother can only benefit us ALL.

So looking forward to connecting with you xx

I have recently relocated to Okato, New Plymouth.
I am feeling the desire and fire to start offering my somatic sessions again, to the wonderful community here.

As I have had the last 14 months off from seeing clients I am going to slowly integrate and see how I can balance this with mama life. I will start out by seeing one or two clients a week and move with what feels right.

My focus will be offering support to Mothers. At any stage of their journey including pregnancy. As this is what I feel most connected at present.

If you know anyone who lives in New Plymouth/ Taranaki who would benefit from being met in their motherhood journey. Please feel free to connect me to them.

(I tried to change my location on this page but it didn’t work, yet.)

I will add more details in the coming days of my offerings.

Much Love xx

I would love to share about this sacred ceremony that was beautifully co-created for me over the weekend by my beautiful sisters. This ceremony is known as a Blessing Way which is a more traditional ceremony that is offered to celebrate the transition into motherhood. This ceremony, unlike the traditional baby shower, offered a sacred space to honor the transition into motherhood itself, rather than solely focusing on the baby. It was a deeply personal journey for me, one that I felt compelled to share to shed light on the often overlooked needs of mothers within our culture. The mothers needs often gets forgotten about and her rite of passage does not get the holding and support that it actually requires in our culture.

I was deeply moved by the overwhelming support and love extended to me and i am still trying to embrace it all. The creation of another life is undeniably the most precious gift and I'm profoundly grateful knowing this baby is already enveloped in the most extensive support network.

Each sister present bestowed upon me the most exquisite words while delicately weaving flowers into a crown. Tears flowed freely throughout the day, evoking a mix of emotions. It also surfaced deep-seated grief and unresolved wounds stemming from ancestral mother lines. Reading aloud my postpartum support document stirred profound emotions, revealing a collective realization of the unspoken need for such nurturing and knowing that we can even ask for that. I'm deeply honored by the depth and resonance of this sacred space, which I intended to be inclusive of all women, offering healing beyond myself.

Similar to the ceremony I had for my early birth, the healing and transformation are intended for all women—mothers, grandmothers, daughters alike. It's an immense undertaking.

I feel so deeply about how this core wound needs so much support and healing in the sisterhood, in our community in our culture.

I can feel the orchestration of how it has been “set up” in this way to create the spilt in the feminine current. Starting from birth and continuing through motherhood. It's evident how women, mothers, and even children adopt hyper-masculine traits during this phase, believing they must handle everything independently, without needing support, pushing their bodies beyond limits, concealing their struggles, and prioritizing others' needs above their own, being the super-mom.
The list goes on. And it’s so fu***ng sad.

The saddest part is that women continue to perpetuate this cycle; we persist in living like this.

Sinking deeper into a consciousness of separation within the feminine current.

We keep allowing it to unfold, relinquishing our power, continuing to outsource and playing victim. We cannot solely blame the patriarchal system. Once we acknowledge, it becomes our duty to reclaim our sovereignty.

We alone have the ability to opt for change, to shoulder the responsibility for change. It's crucial for our children to understand they deserve a different reality.

A sister shared with me the phrase "The
Feminine deprivation codes," which encapsulates the suffocating spell we've been under—a cycle of denial and perpetuation. The depletion, disconnection, emptiness, and fractured commodification within the patriarchal system—a system I've sadly contributed to, allowed, amplified, and even exploited to advance or seek safety.

It's all part of the same pattern—a systematic starvation and strangulation of the feminine.

I felt compelled to share the undercurrents of grief present during the ceremony, despite the outward appearance of beauty captured in the pictures. It's essential to bring awareness to the deeper layers of emotion and the need for change within our culture's perception of motherhood and femininity.

The journey toward reclaiming our power and sovereignty is not an easy one. It requires us to confront and challenge the societal norms that perpetuate this cycle of deprivation and disconnection. But I am committed to this journey, knowing that it's crucial not just for myself but for future generations of women.
