PILOT Patrol Captain Course
Date: Sunday 21st of September
Location: Auckland Marine Rescue Centre
Time: 8:30am-4:00pm

Pre Requisites for Patrol Captain Award:
· Current member of a SLS Club
· 18 years of age
· Surf Lifeguard Award (Refreshed)
· Surf First Aid (Refreshed)
· Radio Communication Module or Marine VHF Radio Operator Certificate
· Minimum 2 full season’s patrolling experience
· Online Patrol Captain pre-learning must be completed via Etrainu (this will be done after be confirmed as enrolled into the course)

Our vehicles are an essential part of the toolkit we have to keep users safe. The coastal environment is in an incredibly tough environment on equipment so we're always looking for opportunities to keep these vehicles in top condition. And that is where Autoblast Ltd come in.

Thanks to Dave and the team for giving the Toyota New Zealand Hilux and Can-Am Off-Road Defender the annual once over and anti-corrosion touch up. All ready for next summer.

Muriwai Volunteer Lifeguard Service patrols Muriwai Beach, based on Auckland's wild west coast, every weekend between Labour Weekend and Easter. We also maintain a 24/7/365 Emergency Callout Squad of local and experienced lifeguards able to respond to Police 111 Callouts. We routinely top the lifeguarding statistics for the country as we take a proactive stance toward public safety and swiftly respond to emergencies.
