Hauora Hinengaro — Mental Health Support Service
Infant, Child, Adolescent and Youth (ICAY)
This service supports tamariki and rāngatahi aged 0–18. I’m here to help those who are facing difficulties with their thoughts and emotions, which may affect daily living, relationships, study or work, and sense of self-worth.
Support available includes:
• Interactive Drawing Therapy
• Cultural Support — Practical help or guidance that respects and upholds cultural identity
• Kaupapa Māori — Support guided by Māori principles, values, and worldviews; working in ways that centre Tikanga, Te Reo, Pūrakau, Whakapapa and Mātauranga Māori
• Secondary Service Liaison
• Resource Support

Just an update for picking up Free Kai at 53 Oregon Drive Murupara. 8.30am start.

Over the next few weeks there will be some changes.

What stays the same
- Free Kai will be given out every Thursday.
If there are any changes you will be notified
- free kai open to everyone local and surrounding communities.
- everyone must sign in, a sign in form is available.
- Elderly go first then followed by everyone.

What will change:
- all vehicles must be parked on the road not the grass verge outside whanau homes or Te Whata Ora building. Thank you to those who have.
- smoking or va**ng is prohibited on Te Whata Ora property at all times. You must go back to the road.
- there will be cones set up soon please keep within these.
- there will be signs around saying keep out make sure you do for your safety.

For many of us, we often put ourselves last. We have children/mokopuna to look after, mahi to do, Parents to check in on - just busy right?

This year, lets change some of that. I challenge you to make yourself a priority. Show up for yourself. Take inventory on your thought life and your emotional life.

It's that time of year - the School Start Up payment is open for application from today, Monday 12th January to Friday 28th February.

If you're receiving Unsupported Child's Benefit or Orphan's Benefit you are eligible for this payment. You can get the payment for every child that you get these benefits for.
