To celebrate our partnership with Hawkes Bay Magpies, we are delighted to give away several hospitality tickets with our Audiologists at two upcoming Magpies games. This is a unique opportunity to give your Audiologist real time feedback on new hearing aids in a noisy environment, all while enjoying the match.

The package includes food, drink, covered seats at the match and an invite to a post-match function. Two draws will be made in August and September, with all clients who trial or buy hearing aids eligible for the draw.

Yesterday Carly had the chance to hear from Professor Grant Searchfield, one of the world’s leading voices in tinnitus and Head of Audiology at the University of Auckland.

He encouraged audiologists to think differently about how we fit hearing aids for people with tinnitus - exploring whether subtle changes in settings could actually make a difference. He backed it up with research that’s fresh out of the university, which was fascinating to hear!

Always so valuable to learn from experts and bring new ideas back to our local clinic here in Hawke’s Bay 😊

Last week Dion donned some hospital scrubs and went into theatre to assess someone under general anaesthetic. This may be necessary when an individual is unable to test in a traditional clinical environment, and we are happy to be able to offer our services to the hospital when they are needed.
