Tuesdays and Thursdays at midday is where it’s at! Senior Strength class on Tues and Chair Yoga on Thursday and thanks to Age Concern its only a fiver.

All creaks and body-groans welcome as I modify poses and exercises to suit you on the day.

If you’re over 65 and been thinking about how you can move your body in a safe and supported way then Yippie Yopi Yoga Studio in Onekawa has come to the rescue!! Tuesday’s Senior Strength and Thursday’s Chair Yoga are specifically for ages 65+ and thanks to Age Concern only cost $5 per class.

And, the cool thing is I’m the instructor!!

Kick off time is 12pm and classes run for 45 minutes. You only have to bring yourself as all equipment provided.

Yin yoga at home - Making the most of our new flooring that went down yesterday!!! Yay!!

Yoga at home can be simple and it can be for as long as the time you have. I squeezed in a nurturing 30mins before heading off to work, and it was just the tonic after a very full couple of days. So grateful that my wonderful body holds me up each day to do life my way.

About Rebecca Marshall Health Coach

Kia ora, hello, and welcome! I’m a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach who has studied with the New York based Institute of Integrative Nutrition. My mission is to show you that a healthier version of yourself doesn’t need to be hard and in fact “trouser shrinkage syndrome” can be reversed and symptoms of ill-health remedied with gradual changes to food and lifestyle. My role is to help you replace food choices and habits to those that nourish and repair the body.

I’ve been a self-confessed foodie throughout my adult life and since becoming an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach I’ve had a strong interest in general wellness, self-healing and food as medicine.

In recent years as ongoing stress, a weakened immune system, adrenal fatigue, and an overgrowth of candida impacted my own health, I’ve focused on nutrition and lifestyle. As a Health Coach who uses food as medicine, I draw on my personal experiences to support clients who are often overstretched in today’s fast-paced society.

I believe improved health is not only about the destination, but also the journey along the way. We all have an area of health that could do with a little extra love. Too often we accept ‘feeling just ok’, but I believe you should feel FABULOUS EVERY DAY!
